My experience was very disappointing with the Centre manager Prateek Thakkar. I tried to contact him several times regarding my queries but he seems to know nothing just passing his time and kept making excuses with no professionalism he seems to have no ethics whatsoever very disappointing experience. Not fit for that position!!
Amazing medical centre! Was seen right away with no issues, was able to book in same day. Friendly hospitable nurses & doctors who made me feel warm and welcomed in the clinic. Family are all enrolled here now. Very grateful for everyone's support today!
The Doctors Drury is a small clinic, but has been wonderful ever since I've been going there. Yes, wait times for appointments were long during and following the covid era (hence many of the 1-star reviews) but that was out of their hands. Appointment availability is much improved these days. There is an app where you can book your appointments so you don't have to call reception and wait, unless you need a double length slot. There is an accessibility ramp at the front of the clinic for those of us that need it. I see Dr. Chan who is so kind and caring. She actually listens to her patients and works with you to find a solution to your problem. With her help and expertise, my chronic health problems have become more manageable. The nurses and reception staff are lovely and patient, and honestly saints for having to deal with some of you people, yikes. I will be sad if I have to move far away because I love this doctor's office.
I have been with this Surgery for over 30 years and i have passed through many good Doctors over these years. I recently had an operation ten days prior and i was concerned about a possible infection at the wound site. Unfortunately I could not access the sight visually, tried to see a Doctor on the day my Doctor was away and no free appointments. I was given a callback by a Nurse, whom agreed to check me out. What true professional very through and gentle, inspecting my 1960s rectum. I was so embarrassed !...she said it OK I am a nurse and carried on. Rachel ( Florence Nightingale) deserves the Victoria Cross. Thanks Ben Crowe
I'm really happy with The Doctors Drury. Dr Sophie Chan is so lovely. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful whenever I have called for advice or appointment. I managed to get a same day appointment for my sick child the other day and was very pleased with how the whole process was handled. So grateful to have this Practice so close to where we live in Drury. Thank you for taking care of us, when we know the medical service is extremely stretched at the moment!
Never have any appointments less than 2 weeks out. Joined last in early 2022 still havnt seen a single doctor
doctors are good but management are nuts . Quite often nurses advise patients to go to emergency instead of giving a appointment even if you call early in the day . All they do is to avoid if a child is sick . Doctors are late on the appointments so please allow extra 20-30min but if a patient comes late, they usually charge extra . Frontine staff doesn't seems to have enough knowledge of system and guide patients wrong . My family is with Drury surgery from last many years and they are close to my home but now its time to change the doctors
I cannot fault the service and care we’ve had since becoming patients last year. Every phone call and appointment has been met with the same warm and attentive care. Having had a number of bad experiences in the past, we are really grateful to be part of this practice.
Best doctors I have ever been to. The nurse Wendy is lovely - empathetic and made me feel at ease even when I was experiencing something a little devastating. I'm so glad I registered and it's worth the drive I have to take. However I wish I could minus one half of a star, as the doctor I saw (not my usual) didn't seem to really care about what I was saying and I felt like she just wanted me to stop talking or thought I was being dramatic. Other than that, great communication and super friendly staff.
I often don't take the time to write reviews at all but I have to say I was really impressed as a new patient. The 2 receptionists that I dealt with were both extremely helpful and really really cheerful. It was a really nice atmosphere and which was lovely. I was seen without my notes as I joined at that appointment, that was a mistake I made but it was unavoidable on this occasion. I left feeling not 100% satisfied with my appointment if I'm honest and actually felt I'd wasted my new client fee as I didn't feel the doctor was very interested in my particular issues, I actually felt like she thought I was being dramatic- BUT- I was really impressed that once my clinical notes came through I got a call from that Doctor and she was very patient explaining the blood results and also understood that my issue was shown on scans I had previous. I think that changed things, although I don't really feel like I'm getting to the bottom of the issue I have, I do think it was exceptional that the Doctor actually did follow up and actually did have a look at my history. This was a marked difference between this clinic and the last 2 I have been too. I also would need to say they kept to their appointment time better than any Doctors office I've been to before. I feel I can definitely recommend them to others. BUT probably wise to have your history accessible at that first appointment! I understand it's hard when someone looks healthy to believe they maybe have some underlying issues giving them discomfort.
