   MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! My kids were enrolled to this school and my son was in for over 2 years. We had to move to Dunedin due to my husband's work and I have mentioned straight away that after 2 years we will return. More than that I have placed the enrolment form a year before they open enrolments and confirmed them that we are definitely moving back. Today, a year after I sent the enrolment form, I've emailed them to finalize and get further information for the new year in 2024 and the school is writing me that they have the classes full and cannot accept new enrolments. However they had our enrolment a year ago!!! Our kids also go to karate class at the school since they were 3 years old so it makes sense to have them go there again. I find this ... let's just say "unethical" and "unprofessional" although other people would call it different. Kids are extremely disappointed and surely enough one more child in the class should make any difference, it DOES MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE to the child though.

   Sunnyhills is an excellent school. I attended this school myself as a child and my 10 year old son has done so since age 5. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the Pakuranga area who are weighing up their primary school options.

   When I saw one of the teachers on Facebook, yes facebook is public for everyone to see, I was shocked to see it was the same person. Though we should judge teachers solely on their teaching skill, their social media life does reflect on some of their character, I believe. I want my child to be taught by a balanced, sensible, healthy individual not some pouting heavy makeup wearing plastic looking doll with fake everything!!! Is this school serious? Yikes!!
