I agree horrible customer service. When I went to buy a new CAS unit, I sent this guy a picture of mine Because I don't know what to look for apparently lots of numbness need to match up and I don't know which ones are which He replied saying he had another one at home that he’d be willing to sell. I assumed he knew what he was talking about and that he’d already matched the numbers — he’s the professional, after all. So I bought it, had it shipped to me, then paid a hefty $370 to have it cloned. The guy came out, fitted it into my car… and nothing happened. Turns out it was a completely different version of the CAS2 module. Admittedly, I’m partly to blame — I should have double-checked the numbers myself. But honestly, I didn’t know what I was even looking at or what those numbers meant. I trusted that the seller, being in the business, would’ve done that part correctly. If you send someone a clear photo of your unit, you expect them to send you the correct replacement for that exact model — especially when you’re relying on their expertise. When I realised it didn’t work, I asked if I could exchange it for the right one. He said he didn’t have any others. So I asked if I could return it for a refund if I sent it back. He claimed it was probably damaged. I told him it had been bench-tested *twice*, both times passing with full proof — screenshots showing the exact part and model numbers during the successful test. But even with that evidence, he still didn’t trust me. I offered a simple solution: I’d send it back, he could test it himself, and if it passed, he could refund me. But he wasn’t interested in helping at all — no refund, no exchange, nothing. Honestly, I just thought he could’ve been a better bloke about it — not so tight-fisted and argumentative. After everything I’d already gone through, it would’ve meant a lot for him to show just a bit of understanding and decency.

poor customer service and It’s a total rip off Seriously, don’t buy from him. He’s charging nearly the same price for second hand parts as you’d pay for new ones!

Assured me the steering wheel was in top notch condition (with a premium price to match that...). Drove for an hour only to find out the leather is ripped/cut in places. "Not happy with what I have?.. - jog on" sort of attitude. Ended up getting one shipped from Australia for way cheaper (including shipping) and in perfect condition.

WOW!!! A call for advice, never met or dealt with before &, maybe am finally one of those old people who appreciates the Zen Art Of BMWing(Motorcycling), but - I haven't enjoyed getting told to (even if, harsh realities of owning classics that just no-one appreciates anymore...), since dear old Dad challenged me on 'thibgs'...;) Cheers, Brent! All BMr work to ya, with a bonus! ;))
