As with all the reviews on here, customer service is appalling. I've got a package split into two boxes and have received the second box, but after waiting for what seemed to be far too long I contacted NZ Post. The email came back telling me they don't even know if the package they've already delivered has been picked up. Then I tell them that I already have 1 of the 2 boxes to which I am told that I can only enquire about my original package and not another one in the same ticket? The most dismissive support I have ever dealt with and absolutely show no sign that they actually want to help. It's currently level 4 in Auckland so I didn't contact them until 3 weeks after the due date! Terrible experience as always.

Absolutely useless. Had 2 urgent boxes to be delivered today (Friday 7th November 2025) they were to be delivered to my central city residence, no signature, but I have a front desk where parcels can be dropped. The courier didn’t even bring the parcels in just dropped the “sorry we missed you” cards. Phone number was on both shipping labels. I worked from home to ensure I was here for the parcels. But nothing. No call. I only knew he had been cause I checked the tracking numbers and it said they had tried to deliver. Absolute crap. I need the parcels by Monday morning as I’m going up north and so or the products are for a family member. I’ve used other couriers to deliver from the same company with no problem. I won’t be using NZ POST again. Ridiculous I’d give no stars but google won’t let me. Stuffed me round. It would have been easier to either have it shipped by another courier or gone and picked it up from the shipper myself. NOT IMPRESSED NZ POST. You have yet again proven you are not a preferred delivery provider. Next time it will be Kiwi Couriers getting my business.

I really wish there was a No star for this company. I sold my vehicle to their wreckers and was told that they would change the registration under them and they would sort it all out on there side lucky I rung nz transport and change the details myself as they didnt keep to there word. To the guy that answered the phone and told me he would sort it all out, next time be honest and do what you said your gona do. No Happy customer

Very bad courier service. So irresponsible. Im from Canada and applied for my sister’s visa who is in NZ. They lost her passport during courier delivery. Like seriously. How can you lost such an important document. I have an emergency situation going on as i am expecting soon. Now, I am in so much stress as she have to reapply passport and visa and it will take I don’t know how long. I Wish this company to get banned as soon as possible.

I am extremely dissatisfied with NZ Post’s customer care. My client’s parcel has been lost for weeks, and despite numerous emails and phone calls, we have received no proper response or resolution. Each time we manage to get through, we’re given a different excuse, but no real help or progress on finding the lost parcel. Their lack of accountability and response is frustrating and unprofessional. We’ve been patient, but this kind of service is unacceptable, especially when it impacts our business and client relationships. I strongly urge NZ Post to improve their customer care and communication.

Terrible service. Damaged an item I sent by courier. Refused to compensate me because it "wasn't in original packaging" when unbeknownst to me they picked it up from the guy I sent it to (who was not asked to provide the original packaging). Then they returned half of the consignment to me (they lost half of the consignment). At time of writing (two months after I sent the original consignment) they haven't responded because "they are waiting to hear back from the depot". I will switch to Aramex for future deliveries. Wish me well at the disputes tribunal...

Fed ex sub contract nz post/courier my parcel delivery date changed 3 times within a week. Each time the tracker would say “with driver, should be delivered today’ each time nothing. I changed the parcel to “no signature” with the call centre because of the delays I couldn’t stay home again, three days before it was meant to be delivered. Came home to find a “we missed you” card. Frustrated I called the call centre who said the driver was told and just didn’t listen, another 7 working days later it arrived and I ran out to ask the driver why it was late - answer “I went on holiday” so my parcel just sat waiting for him to come back from holiday. He said there was no note to say leave it by the door and so he took it with him. Nobody cares!

The overall quality of a service is measured by how it reacts to something that went wrong. NZ Post fails here in all aspects. When opening a ticket with them, you might as well be sending an email to God. They don't respond as though they have bigger problems to tackle.

Such a pathetic company policy and procedures. I was waiting for my passport to arrive, when called in the morning, I have been told that the driver will be in that area in the afternoon and will be delivered between 1pm to 1:30 and when I followed up around 1:30 to check how far the driver is, another lady said, "we dont have direct number of the driver and will be delivered by 3:30 as he finish his shift around that". Seriously!!!!!!. I really wonder how can one person confirm that definitely it will be delivered by 1:30. I am not fussed and did allow the driver to give sometime and he delivers by 2pm but A JUMP OF 2 HOURS- from 1:30 to 3:30 is unacceptable. Cannot redirect due to security reasons and they are passports. Now if you are at work, you need to have someone at home for signatures otherwise the passport will be returned to internal affairs due to security reason and wait for another few days, weeks and months to be delivered and again same story. I have told one of my family friends to stay at home as I was at work. He had to wait for 3 hours and doing nothing just to wait for the passports to arrive out of his routine and luckily it was his day off. The service is getting worst day by day.
