   Waiheke Appliances, in particular Andy, did a fantastic job replacing an oven and  hob top for me. He gave me great advice and answered all my questions. The job itself was done seamlessly. Andy managed the electrical upgrade and stayed in touch till everything was done. He was punctual, reliable and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure working with him and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a professional job

   Ordered a brand new dishwasher with installation included and had it sent to these guys. They lost it in their storage for a month and then when they came to my house they told me the cabinetry wasn't setup right to install. No offer to help, no solution as to what I should do to sort it. Service man was blunt and unhelpful. He didn't even attach the hoses to the machine. Just left and no refund for the installation fee offered. Shocker. I just installed it myself in the end.

   We were surprised by a $125 fee for the 5 minute site visit. No mention of this on their online booking form. I spoke with the business who confirmed this is a minimum fee and covers up to the first 30 minutes of service. I’ve suggested this should be outlined on their website clearly. The service was friendly, prompt and whilst unable to fix the appliance, gave good advice all the same.

   Poor communication. Invoice (which I had to ask twice) was way off the quote (more than double). I asked for the time frame, didn't get reply. Luck of professionalism. I have received suppressive call from the owner who doesn't show respect to the customer, or it could be me as I'm a female and poc - as my associate who is white male was more treated equally. Not happy at all and very upsetting experience. We asked for an apology but never received - funny enough,again, the associate who is a white male has. He wrote to him ''‘Aya(me) was struggling to understand the point I was trying to get access’ - that’s him yelling at me. I was NOT confused at all as I understand how to use emails , consumers rights, basic communication skills and be able to show some respect unlike him. He didn't try listen. 1 star for fixing the oven. Washing machine leaks still, but I rather let it leak than going through unnecessary stress again.
