I went to Smile Dental at Papakura for a consultation regarding a mild pain in one of my lower left molar and a routine teeth cleaning which I am aware that it was 6 months overdue. The teeth cleaning went as planned and Im happy that my teeth has been cleansed thoroughly though it was really painful, let say 9/10 pain level and was expected according to the Dentist. Nevertheless, the Dentist gave me a good explanation about my teeth and poor gum condition. Gave me advise on how to properly brush my teeth by watching the Bass Method online. Asked me for another cleaning in 4 months which I agree and put me on a short course of antibiotics and mouth wash. Thanks to the Dentist. Today my upper left gums are now very sensitive to hot, cold and even to tap water, but there was no issue on that area before the Dentist did the cleaning. This adds to the pain which I find it very annoying and feeling dissatisfied. I am aware that this happened because of neglect on my part but last year when I had my teeth cleaned and Dentures made, my gum condition is far more worse because of decades of poor oral hygiene and I have never experienced SENSITIVE GUMS like this today. I sent an email regarding my concern and they offered me a free consultation review. I told them that I will complete my antibiotics first and see how it goes. I would rather come back for free to another clinic not in PAPAKURA. I DID NOT PAY FOR ANOTHER HEADACHE. Hopefully the Antibiotics and mouth wash will help ease up the pain.
Such an awesome & professional service by the dentist and the staff. Explained the process so well and was really attentive throughout the procedure by asking if the pain tolerance is okay . Handled with a lot of care , excellent work!
I found the dentist to be very rude, unprofessional and unsympathetic. She was also arguing with my sister who brought me to the appointment which is what we found to be unprofessional. She even came from behind the counter to carry on arguing with us. I have asked to never be assigned this dentist again.
The lady that was on today at around 10am at the Papakura branch was arrogant, rude and likes to argue with her customers her behaviour was disgusting and she definitely should change her career path if she does not know how to be patient, kind or caring towards anyone. Highly do not recommend booking with her.

I had back to back appointments with Papakura Smile Dental just recently. My Dentist was amazing. She took great care with me, always making sure to check if I was alright throughout the procedures. She did amazing work on my teeth, I am so impressed. Will definitely stay with this clinic.
Excellent! Went for consultation and didn’t except to get an appointment or treatment they saw me straight away, tooth extracted painless and professional. Explained to me every step and was out within 30mins. Definitely recommend Dr Teressa and her lovely assistants/receptionist. Thanks Smile
