Crap courier service, didn’t even give my elderly mother time to get to the door before leaving a card-to-call and hoofing it out of the street! Checked our cameras and shows he was only up our driveway for 47 seconds from time he stopped and got out to the time he reversed out!

My parcel was delivered to the wrong unit despite being clearly labelled. After I contacted them to express my concern, they failed to respond or offer even a basic apology, which I find unacceptable.

Absolutely the WORST experience with NZ Post. They lost my parcel and never gave me any proper update. I had to chase them myself just to get a useless reply saying, “Sorry, we couldn’t find your item” and that was it. No call, no apology, no solution. Even worse, they told me to go ask the sender for help even though it was NZ Post who lost the package! The sender (Zara) already confirmed the issue happened after NZ Post took over. So now I’m left with nothing, and both sides are just blaming each other. This is beyond frustrating. No one takes responsibility. No support for the person who actually lost the item. What’s the point of using a postal service if they don’t care when they lose your stuff? Never trusting NZ Post again. Total failure in service, communication, and basic responsibility.

Usually, NZ Post are good and efficient however, I recently purchased items for mum on Mother’s Day May 2025 this was not consistent to my previous experience. I’m still waiting and trying to locate my mother day present after 1 month. The organisation I ordered the gift from sent a copy that it was delivered, we haven’t received anything. I arrived from my holiday and still following up on my mother’s package.

The Value of a Person’s Life in Today’s World My name is Gourav Sharma, and I want to share my painful experience so that no one else has to go through what I did. On March 1st, my parcel arrived at the Wiri Depot, containing OCI cards—documents I desperately needed to travel. On March 4th, I called NZ Post—my auntie was in the hospital. I needed my courier urgently. On March 5th, I called again—my auntie was in ICU. I needed my courier. On March 6th, my auntie passed away. I needed my courier. I begged them over the phone, pleading for them to understand. I told them I was happy to collect my documents in person, but they wouldn’t allow it. For them, it was just “procedure.” For me, it was the last chance to see my loved one before she was gone forever. Even today, they are still “allocating a case officer.” My parcel is still sitting in Wiri Depot, untouched, since March 1st. This is the value of a person’s life in today’s world. No urgency. No compassion. No humanity. I am sharing this so no one else has to suffer the way I did. No one should be robbed of their last chance to say goodbye. This needs to change. Just plain bad service. The object of using a courier service is speed & reliability, what has happened to that ? Parcels are continually misdirected & can take weeks to be delivered Nobody here cares at all about the customer or understands that a courier service should be quick. Delayed & lost deliveries financially hurt the customer & they do not care. If a parcel is tracked, how then does it get lost. "Use courier post at your peril", this is a government department with no customer service.

Shocking. My package was not delivered, but the courier put into the system that it had been, even though it has been posted back to the sender. Now I cannot get a refund because the parcels status says ‘delivered’. I tried going online and following all avenues to get it delivered to a different address, but got a belligerent and belittling email from NZPOST staff for just trying to update the delivery address by filling out an online form. I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of goods over the last few years due to NZPOST and their utter incompetence.

Most pathetic courier - does not deserve the NZ TITLE. Disgrace to NZ! So sick and tired of always paying extra for overnight and Saturday delivery and always getting parcels two days late. This is an ongoing issue that everyone is experiencing / if these clowns can’t handle overnight / Sat DONT SELL THE SERVICE! Even same island takes them longer than overnight. Awful communication, horrible management - NZ Post needs a network makeover - not spending money on web designers / rebranding BS. One parcel from Dunedin to Auckland took 32 days!!!! I would walk there faster. I seriously think we should all start a class action lawsuit to claim our money back, where we didn’t receive on time / overnight / Saturday delivery - as NO PARCEL THIS YEAR HAS BEEN ONTIME. Malicious thieves.
