   Extremely disappointing experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I want to share my recent experience to save others from wasting their time and money here. Last week, my girlfriend visited this workshop for advice on her car. Right from the start, the mechanic’s attitude was rude and unprofessional. Worse, his lack of basic knowledge was shocking — he couldn’t even differentiate between a chain-driven engine and a cam-belt system. For reference, she drives a 2014 Mazda Axela Hybrid, which comes with a timing chain, not a cam-belt. Yet, this mechanic confidently advised her to replace the “cam-belt” because the odometer had reached 96,000 km, warning her of potential future problems. He even gave her a ridiculous quote of $1,767 plus GST. Thankfully, she didn’t proceed with the service. When she told me about it later, I immediately knew something was off. A quick Google search confirmed my doubts — several reviews mentioned similar stories of misleading advice and poor customer service. In short, this place is completely untrustworthy. They either don’t know what they’re doing or are trying to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Either way, I strongly recommend avoiding this mechanic.

   Here is a business that does not appreciate customers and is not honest to them. They diagnose faults incorrectly and in solving one problem create another. The aim seems to be to create an endless cycle of problems so that the business can continue to profit at the expense of customers. While the business owner may question the content of a review - it would be better to correct their own processes and be honest to customers. If you do not have the capability to solve a problem than you should be honest to customers. Looking at the previous reviews perhaps there was a time when this business did provide an honest service however from our experience this is certainly not the case any longer. Stay away.

   Great experience and service. Highly recommended. Got to this mechanic by chance after I got a very large value quote from my current mechanic to fix a wof fail. I went to lunch and as I was eating and thinking on how much money I need to spend on the car I saw across the road the sign for this auto shop. I said let's go in and ask for a second opinion. And am glad I did. The mechanic, Edwin, seemed a genuine guy who looked at the issue, showed me what it is and how cheap the parts are, fixed it very fast and save me from paying a lot of money for a non-existing issue to the other mechanic. I went next day to the wof testing station and got the warrant without any issues. So I highly recommend you to get a second opinion when you have mechanical issues and this shop can be the one.    A few days ago I took my ailing Audi to see Edwin. Previous visits to an Audi dealer in Auckland had been expensive and left me in doubt about the honesty and capability of the servicing department. In stark contrast, Edwin was open, forthright and methodical. He clearly explained the issue, resolved the fault and charged me a fair price for parts and labour. It was frankly refreshing to meet a true and honest technician with skill and integrity. I both commend him and warmly recommend him.

   I found some oil stains at the bottom of my car, suspecting oil leak has happened. the workshop checked it carefully to find no leak was ongoing, the old stains should have been left from the past. They suggested to keep driving and keep an eye on the spot which was cleaned by them, in case new stains were found in the coming day, they would get it checked and fixed. I was not charged a cent for the good check-up and cleaning. What a sweet and delightful workshop! Highly recommend Edwin and his team to local community.

   Absolutely awesome service, Edwin always teaches and explains exactly what’s wrong and what needs to be done to fix, always looks to get you the best deals and works hard to make sure your car is completed to a high standard and on time.
