Unprofessional and disappointing. I hired Rohan from TBiz to file my 2022 return for a house sale and provisional tax. Rohan filed a basic return and incorrectly gave April 2024 date to pay the taxes resulting in thousands of dollars in penalties. Rohan’s advice in 2022 and in April 2023 was to write to IRD and request for remittance. Rohan either did not have any knowledge of provisional tax or this was blatant incompetence and greed to make a quick money and not providing appropriate advice which is the main purpose of hiring an accountant. I received more advise from the IRD customer service person than Rohan. Rohan is a ATAINZ member and not part Chartered professional which I did not realize until much later. I suggest going to a professional Chartered accountant instead who do a much more thorough filing.
