Dr. Amy Tuyay has been my GP for the last 4 years and I can only say good things about her based on my personal experience. I had injured myself at work way back in 2022 which resulted in chronic pain, monthly GP visits to this day and eventually resulted in spine surgery in 2024. She has been pivotal in my journey to healing. She has always been a very good listener and truly understood my problems and situation. I never felt rushed and has always been included in the decision making related to my treatment. Dr. Amy proactively made referrals to specialists that I needed to see in order to get the help I needed. She also carried out all the tests and made all the paperworks needed in order to make my spinal surgery in the USA possible. To this day, Dr. Amy continues to look after me and my partner and we greatly value not just her services, but most importantly her compassion and kindness. In addition, the ladies in the reception has been very helpful in booking my appointments and assisting with my paperworks. I think dealing with the Papakura staff for 4 years has pretty much made me understand how they operate and have come to develop a very good relationship with them. Much love and support!β€οΈ

The superb team of Papakura Family Medicine has provided me and family the medical care that we never had in the past. Each visit is greeted with care and respect. They know us by name! Dr. Amy spends time to listen to our worries and attends to us diligently. No rushing and judgement. If things aren't as good; she will walk with us to find out what could be better and give us access to what is out there. She was the one who found out that my pain is from kidney stone and now its removed. I have endured pain for so long and my previous doctors just gave me pain killers and didn't investigate enough. Pratima -- has given me the utmost care to manage my Type2 DM. I feel like this time, I have so much control with her guidance. I am not guessing. The frequent check-in with her is always reassuring. Unlike before, you just take medicines and hardly review it. With Pratima looking after me; its always an active conversation. She would even ring me if she sees my sugar is off the chart. The reception ladies are always accommodating and flexible when you needed that appointment or paperwork request. They are on top of things always. Thank you so much for looking after us.

We have been going here since I was a baby, so that would be nearly 40 years ago! Dr Bernard Choy and his late father, Dr Sydney Choy, were the doctors that had urged my mother, many moons ago, to go to the hospital and have her head scanned as they believed she had a brain tumour. This pretty much saved her life. I was only a baby at the time, but my father told me of this. So, for that, our family are forever grateful for that.

Very unhappy with my experience with dr amy. Find her to be very rude and didn't care about helping with the issue that I came in for. They seem only to care about getting money off you then helping you. After going in 3 or more times and paying $45 each visit. and then the problem was resolved. Wasn't necessary just from the lack of care. For these reasons I am forced to go to another care center that care for their patients.
