Jacqueline Allen has been my GP for 25 plus years and as far as I am concerned she is the best Doctor in the whole wide world. Professional, respectful, caring, helpful and very informative and supportive. Highly recommend 100%. I have also had the pleasure of being seen to by other Doctors at this wonderful Medical Practice when Jacqueline was unavailable, and I am happy to report totally satisfied with the high level of professionalism and respect and care was given me. Again, highly recommend. The other staff members consisting of in-house Nurses, administration and management, reception etc. All very friendly, caring, helpful, respectful and supportive. Great team. Only grime is no-one answering phone when calling in to make an appointment and being put on hold ... like forever .. at times?? Not all the time though. Besides that. Wow!!! As soon as we walked in you could feel the warmth. Everyone in here was amazing and friendly. Dr Dominic Smith thank you, your amazing. It was so good to be treated like a person something we've never experienced in 10+yrs at our previous Dr.
The Doctor's here are very professional a d approachable, easy to talk to. The receptionist are very polite and will always try their best to get an appointment asap. My daughter got sick while I was away In Christchurch, it only took a phone call to Tiakina Te Ora Medical practice and all my worries were put to rest. Thank you Illana Pieterse
It's been weeks now and won't give me my results from super clinic
All the new doctors there are no good... Talk too much rubbish that dont relate to your condition and recommended wrong medication that could of resulted in ending up in Middlemore. Charged too much for too much talking while other patients are waiting. Waited over an hour before we were seeing, Receptionist is very rude over the phone when you call to book for an appointment. Very bad service now.
Prescribe wrong meds for our kids. Have to frequently go back for more paperwork to get stuff done because Dr Kath Latu gets it wrong more than she gets it right. She prescribed bum cream for Eczema, the pharmacist luckily solved the problem on the go. Also told us they wouldn't do routine vaccinations over the covid period... was a lie. This Doctor has wasted so much of our time. I would only recommend going if you want your children to get more sick.
I once posted about the wait time to see the Drs at this practice, however, now I can clearly see that this is just due to the thoroughness of the Drs and perhaps not patients booking correct appointments. I appreciate that they will always make time to see children too
Overall it was okay and mostly mature clients, doctors and staff. The young lady working as a reception was really rude and unpleasant attitude. I wouldn't go back, my pain will be even more excruciating if I have to deal with her again!
