Best doctor Harshad Patel . Very knowledgeable. Very caring and very professional . He is gem in local doctors. Easy to get appointment with online app. He can speak Hindi as well . Easy for parents to consult about any concerns.
Exorbitant fees, advertised phone number is never managed or answered and the previous doctor has had his licence revoked for sexual misconduct?! News articles and all. My elderly parents go to this clinic unfortunately and need to go into the clinic to make an appointment. Terrible service.
Extremely poor communication I’ve tried calling Hillpark Doctors multiple times during business hours and never get an answer. It’s incredibly frustrating when you need to make an appointment or ask a simple question and no one picks up the phone — not even an option to leave a message most of the time. Healthcare is essential, and being completely unreachable is simply unacceptable. If you’re looking for a clinic that’s responsive and values patients’ time, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Horrible pathetic medical centre. Truly, trust me don’t register here. I been with them for 2 years and now de registered myself to go to a better place where the receptionists are a bit civilised and have manners of how to talk. The receptionists at Hillpark medical think they own the centre and can talk as they wish to anyone. They are so rude, won’t let you speak, keep cutting you off and start arguing with you when you are talking nicely to them. They have no sense or manners of talking and I am not even sure how this centre is running. Please you guys deserve a better place and better service.
Frontline staff doesn’t know what they’re doing. I had booked appointment for my baby for today with Dr. Raj. Upon visiting the clinic, frontline staff advised me that they don’t have any appointment for this name. Somehow they accommodated my baby with a new doctor who I think is in wrong profession. While my baby was getting diagnosed with this doctor, I got a call from clinic that I haven’t showed up for my appointment. Is it a joke ? They had booked me as a patient with Dr. Raj instead of my baby. Poor patient scheduling. There are only a couple of senior staff in this clinic those are keeping patients coming. Everyone else is amateur.
The only doctor i will ever recommend from Hill Park Medical is Dr Raj! The best of the best 5/5 service who cares about his patients and asks questions as well as actually checks your overall health. Very caring Dr. As for all other doctors especially Dr Harshad who i have seen twice now, very disappointed with the lack of care and time when we pay money and wait days to be seen. No questions are asked even about my recent health problems. This doctors doesn't even deserve a 1 star! Worst care ever. First of all they don't offer to book you in with your GP that's on your file they put you with some random doctor who just wants patients in and out quick. They make you wait past your appointment time and then once you are in they are done within one minute and take your $20. Ridiculous. They can't even spend the whole 15 minute appointment with you to check your health properly.
WORST MEDICAL CENTER! I have never been so disappointed by New Zealand’s health system as I am by seeing these people here. The receptionists(both of them) are so rude uninterested in talking to you and think they are some queens of some sort running this entire business. If you are sick today and call them for an appointment they will give you an appointment after 3 days. So you are ideally asked to be in pain till 3 days and then cone to the clinic where the docs are in a rush always to send you back soon. So just for those 2 mins they’ll charge money. Oh well not to forget that only happens if you are lucky enough that your call was picked up. I tried this one day and called them up and it kept asking me to hold and drove to the clinic and saw the receptionists gossiping to each other while I was on hold like many other patients. And when you confront these ladies they become more rude and told us off that you can complain if you want. Wow. What a service. I don’t know why you guys can’t enroll as many patients as you can manage to see and not be greedy to keep enrolling patients and give appointments to none.
I’ve never actually ever been able to book an appointment through the phone. At one point, I called three times throughout the day and all three times I was left waiting until the call ended (roughly after 10 mins). The 4th time I called that day, I drove to the clinic myself, I arrived within maybe 8 minutes and I was on hold. Walked into the clinic and the receptionists were just talking. I asked the lady if I was calling the right number and she confirmed I did, then told me to hang up since I was there in to person and to book in person. Dr Raj is an awesome doctor however the receptionists there need to improve their customer service or leave the job.
