I needed the CV boots done urgently on my camper van yo get the CoF and I only had three days before I was booked to go away. Darren was very friendly on the phone and he booked the van in immediately. The team did a thorough inspection and identified a pending issue with the clutch slave cylinder. They explained I could wait to do that repair however if it went, I would not be able to change gears. That was the information I needed to make an informed decision. They provided a quote and the work was completed in time my my holiday and lower then the quoted cost. I particularly like the fact Dr Diesel is a one stop shop for the CoF and repairs and servicing. Thanks again

These guys were very helpful in getting my van up and running. Kept me informed of what was going on, how much it was going to cost, and got the job quicker than first expected

Don’t go here, Firstly they refused to give me a quote or an estimate into how much the job would cost, had poor communication and slapped me with a $1302.29 bill when I showed up for collection. They charged me $500 + GST for a part that I later found out costs $120. Charged $324 in labour for them to diagnose that I had noisy lifters/tappets which is something I stated and told them when I took it in, all they did was put additive in the oil which has done nothing. And Change the fuel Primer Pump. this is the part they put more than a %400 mark up on. I also asked for an alignment on because I had recently changed the lower control arms on the vehicle, I told them I didn’t put them back in the right spot so they need to be checked. The vehicle was returned to me having only one of the Tie rods wound out a lot and nothing else changed. the vehicle still doesn’t drive straight, pulls noticeably hard to the left when driving and the steering wheel doesn’t return to centre, so when I do return the steering wheel to centre I’m basically turning left. So after all that I had to take the vehicle to get realigned somewhere else.

Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Although they were busy I was booked in the next day. They very quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Clearly had pride in their work and had great expertise on diesels. I had a bit of a problem with a windscreen glass installer, but they even let the glazier do it on site. Would highly recommend!

These guys were able to swiftly diagnose the issue with my 2012 Mitsubishi Triton, it's now running smoothly for the first time in 2 months! Very happy with Dr Diesel, I'll definitely be going back. Cheers, Joel.

Overpriced and took too long. i do not recommend. I recommend finding a mechanic who is reasonable and not going charge you unfairly and believes in providing good value and service. Services provided: - replace park light bulbs - Coolant flush and system check (coolant provided by me) - Inspect a pre-diesel filter installed by me and advise whether it was warrantable. I was charged $240 plus GST for labour and $22 plus GST for parts. at my calculations thats about 2.5-3 hrs labour at a rate of $80-100/hr. (the hourly rate was not specified on the invoice) Park light bulbs take 5 minutes to change and a coolant flush no longer than 30 minutes. Inspecting the diesel pump should have taken 30 minutes come to the conclusion that it was not warrantable. So realistically it may have taken 1hr to 1.5hrs labour max. I took the car in 7 am and had not heard from them by 3pm, so i called myself only to hear that they had only just started looking at my car at the very end of the day and would need it for another day. So they needed my car for 2 days to perform very quick and basic tasks. The service manager even had to cheek to say how cheap it was. Is that a joke?

Outstanding service I thought my regular mechanic was doing the right thing by me and the service's. Thank God he was on holiday and I discovered Dr Diesel. They keep me in the loop and didn't repair anything without my approval TEN STAR'S

Did not meet price estimate or delivery time. Diesel injector came loose less then 200kms after repair work. Tech was sent to repair, did not change or check oil quality. 2 Days later, similar issue. Dr Diesel insisted that it was fine and just "residual oil". We found the sump full of diesel and decided not to drive it. We had to argue for Dr Diesel to send a tow truck. They have now done the bare minimum repair and refuse to do a follow up oil change to get rid of the remaining diesel in the oil. Manager insists there is no problem with oil quality. I would not recommend this company. Previous owner was great to deal with and stood behind his work.

Took my car in for a diagnostic, cost me $450 for them to diagnose a faulty sensor. The reason for the high price was pulling panels and looking at all electronics for any problems instead of looking at sensors first, which seems to be the normal port of call for these problems. Got them to do a coolant system leak test and combustion chamber leak test which they claimed both were good. The system was not good after running the same tests by another mechanic.
