Team nice and friendly but be prepared to wait ages if you’re a casual patient. I waited a little over three hours, when I went to check on progress 2hrs later and I was “next in queue” for over an hour and ended up leaving to find alternative help. This is because they book in their own patients who will jump you in queue. I understand not their fault with staffing shortages but just bad experience if you’re in pain and having to wait and seeing others come in after you and get attention

The date of this happening is Monday the 8th of December. The receptionist has a face like thunder 7:14pm i am told the doctor is not seeing anyone. I ask for the nurse as i was an accident and said not she is doing a cast. I said well thats disappointing, she said so are rude people. Wanted to fight back, then said you can go to ascot Greenlane. There was no empathy at all to an injured person. Not on at all to have a rude receptionist like this. Thunder face and very rude. I had tears in my eyes when i left.

Well I wasn’t going to but to be honest, kinda deserves a bad review. Walked in at 7pm, 1hr before closing time, lady looked like awww, Friday night and someone has just walked in, booo. I say I’m injured and looking to see Dr, says sorry but the Dr has called it for the day and not taking anyone in… sooooo why are you open?? Told to visit Ascot, nobody there and 3 Dr’s available… ok thanks, not even a bye or hope your ok… bad customer service for the position they work in. Arrive at Ascot, absolutely stowed… like why lie, do your job properly!

Personally had a really good experience. Was in and out from seeing nurse, doctor and pharmacist in about an hour and a half and was with doc for a good 20 minutes. Dr Lucy was very helpful and same with nurse Kaitlin (sorry if that isn't correctly spelt). Was a pretty quiet day for them it seemed but very helpful. Thank you!!

Came in for a deep finger cut that was bleeding and was told we had to wait, behind about 6 others in a queue. So much for urgent. We left for another emergency and got prompt service as we would have expected. Thu 8am.

Doctors and nurses are polite and very professional and can't fault them but, they have a young white kiwi woman receptionist who is obviously very racist. I have observed her treating multiple Maori and Pacific people very rudely and then be polite and friendly to white people. This went on for almost three hours. The other older white kiwi receptionist was the complete opposite, polite and very friendly.

UPDATED we went again today and waited almost 3 hours. They didn’t look busy and the waiting room turned over multiple times before we were seen however apparently that was due to a number of urgent cases. Care was still excellent and we never feel like any of the doctors rush us through but definitely prepare for long waiting times. I was told there was one patient ahead of us then 45 mins later we still hadn’t been seen. I went up again and the receptionist checked out the back and suddenly someone was coming to see us. I understand these walk in centers are under pressure and I hate putting additional pressure on the receptionists but that seems to be the only way to get seen!!! —- First review In contrast to most of the recent reviews we had an incredible experience here! My daughter had an ear infection and couldn’t get to see her normal doctor for a week (busy after the long weekend) so I, hesitantly, brought her here after school. Prepared for the worst we were in and out in 45 minutes including nurse assessment, doctor visit and script. No queue. Staff were all lovely. Maybe we got lucky but we were super happy with our experience. The only thing I’d say is it is freezing inside the doctor’s room so bring a sweatshirt!

Appalled that there were NO doctors working. Before covid this used to be a somewhat reliable place to go for urgent care, not any more. It's such a shame this is what has happened to community healthcare. The receptionist took a while just to tell us there were no doctors on sites despite there being no one else waiting or around. After reading reviews it's amazing she still has a job. Must be some sort of nepotism.

Waiting for a phone call from White cross is like waiting for Christmas. Got told at 9:35 a nurse will phone me back within 2 hours. I phoned back at 12:30 (3 hours later). Got told they are busy, but promise to phone within 2 hours. It is now 5:30, i phoned again and got told again that the nurse will phone back. What is going on? You work with sick people. I used to get good service from white cross Lunn ave, but that has changed. Please do as you promise.
