   I took my car in for assessment and refill at Auckland Auto Air Ltd today. I'm really happy with everything; the friendly and helpful customer service, The assessment and estimate of costs and the final job. They were very honest and upfront and the price was more reasonable than I was quoted at my service station. Overall I'm very happy with my air conditioner which works perfectly now.

   Not the best service, not very helpful. Had an ac leak which went warm only 2 weeks after being regassed elsewhere. Seems a bad leak, should be obvious. So went here for $80 diagnosis and quote. Had done some earlier research suggesting condenser was a common fault around a steel bracket specific to my car model but didn't know for sure... Auckland auto air was unable to find the leak and pressure test showed no leak. While I was waiting I looked at car, it was just sitting there, no one looking at it while pressure testing, they prob spent 5 min on it. They wanted me to leave the car there the whole day which I was not prepared for and wasnt discussed at booking. They weren't interested in my research of where the leak was, showed them picture with finger pointing at the leak. Next available weekend I spray soapy water on the suspected area with ac running and soapy bubbles show right away. This place is doing something wrong or just lazy. Got it fixed elsewhere.

   Excellent service and turnaround. My air con was on the fritz, talked to them on the phone and had a booking for the next day (very unexpected at the start of summer). Even just describing on the phone they had a good idea of what the issue might be and an approximate cost up front. Got a phonecall by lunchtime with confirmation of issue, and they were up front of a delay on a different vehicle holding up my car, got the option to get it done a little later than planned that day or pick up tomorrow. Great communication and friendly to deal with. Outstanding workmanship and the aircon feels better than ever. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

   My friend has Mazda Verisa 2009, she complaint around noise when turning air condition. I had a quick look and I thought it is going to be pulley / clutch or bearing. I have called guys and we talk worse case scenario, that compressor replacement + filling system and work would be 1500-2000$. My friend gave them a car to inspect and they were able to identify problem inside compressor, which they have fixed. They added new refrigerant, new lubricant for compressor, leak tested and also changed cabin filter as it was nasty. All job together 373.46$ which was a big relief for my friend. Very happy with service as car is running smoothly, no harsh ticking sounds and AC is so cold! I would definitely recommend these guys, as they know what they are doing and are honest about the job.

   Akl Auto Air fixed the problem in 2 hours for a very fair price. Very happy. Cool Car Onehunga who reconditioned the aircon thought the problem was a faulty fan, therefor auto electrical problem, Honda East don't service aircon, two auto electrical garages shied away. My own garage referred me to same auto electrician who couldn't find a wiring diagram. Wish I had have gone to Akl Auto Air in the first place.

   Very poor experience. not recommended from my side. I have taken my car there in Jan 2023 as the AC fan was stopped working. I also mentioned that it works sometimes and sometimes not. They said come for an inspection and we will provide you a quotation and will also let you know what the issue is. They did 10-15 mins of inspection and given me the quotation of 800 plus saying that resistor and fan both are faulty and needs to be changed. I went to another place and that guy did the inspection and fixed the issue in 150 only. The issue was only with resistor and not the fan. Also I want to mention one big problem with Auckland Auto Air is that at the time of inspection appointment booking they didn't mention any inspection charges. When I went there that time also they didn't mention anything about inspection charges, however after - 10-15 mins of inspection they gave me the quotation and said that you have to pay 80 for inspection now. If you fix the problem with us in future then we will deduct this amount. I was like shocked. Come on. You guys should have told at the time of booking about this. Very unprofessional. However on the other hand where I fixed my issue that guy didn't charged me anything for inspection as well. Really very bad experience Auckland Auto Air. I came to you after looking at the so many good reviews from other people but its totally opposite.

   Very honest! I brought my car to repair the faulty AC. They couldn't find the issue and explained to me that it could take few hours to localised where the power was stopped on the way to the compressor (making easy for me to understand, without taking down to me, that was very nice). But while explaining the guy just looked a bit further and fixed it. So, despite I gave them the green light to book me again, and pay extra fees, they tried to get fixed right away. That was very honest, I wouldn't even understand they would have over charged me if I had to come back, so I am particularly appreciating and highly recommending them
