   Absolutely run by the most uncaring, apathetic and illogical group of people. These people have no idea for timely management of critical patients. Most of them have no knowledge of medical conditions and urgency . In specific the contact centre for MDHB consists of a group of jokers asking for every information for verification and then have no information to give you. They are clueless about what they say and what they should. So avoid calling g these group. The appointment scheduling team is worse. They have no idea of whom to give appointment at what time. Anytime they send you email to cancel and reschedule the appointment. My first appointment with a specialist was canceled twice and even after the seriousness of my health they are pushing me to death. Imagine we are paying taxes for these kind of services. Pray that you are always healthy and dont need Manukau District Health Board.

   They don’t answer phones half the time and don’t answer emails full stop, don’t understand the point of having an email if they don’t read them. I’ve been waiting so long for surgery and was told it’ll Definitely be done before march 2023 and nope still haven’t heard a thing. Really bad organisation, they don’t care about you unless you are dying. if you look fine on the outside it means you’re fine to them you can wait.

   RE: CMDHB (preferred?) goods/service provider Invacare. Had previously read 'horror' reviews of Invacare. Since yesterday (several calls to them), gets us to wonder - "seriously, is that CMDHB's only provider of choice?". Not at all satisfied; still not resolved. Had 'plonked' defective rehab chair over the fence into our backyard and gone. Even supermarket delivery boys do a fantastic job.
