Health and well being level 3 Lecturer keeps talking about herself and what she did and anytime a new classmate is coming in we go backwards not forward. Lecturer and 3 classmates are disrespectful. Classmates are talking to each other while another one is presenting a power point presentation. Lecturer is allowing more then 1 classmate to have the same topic for a assessment and they're not even been told to do another topic. Once a topic has been allocated that's it. No one else should be getting that topic. Class dynamics is not the way it is supposed to be. It feels like I will fail because I am not being heard. A project was given to us in course 1 for course 3 and we e needed to do something with the topic of elderly, and I tell them what was happening and one of the classmates decided to ruin it and not even care about it. I was the one who wrote the names of the classmates in my group as a few of them in the group weren't there that day. I come every Wednesday and Thursday and always on time. Class is supposed to start at 9am sharp but the Lecturer waits for some others to come before we start. Sometimes we don't start until 9:15am. Worst mistake was taking this course with this organization who aren't caring for me. I have a disability and I struggle and I cannot get the help that I require to get through my studies. I wouldn't recommend this organization to anyone. The team that I need are not in our domestic campus but international campus so I cannot make sure that the learning is getting achieved. What I want to see happen is the Lecturer and 3 classmates are out of the course. Or if not it will be me and I will not be back to finish this that I have worked so hard on.

I regret enrolling in the Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying) at Future Skills. The course structure wasn’t what I expected, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The lecturer went overseas for a month, leaving us with no proper lessons. Most online classes consist of YouTube videos or just time to work on our assessments, and at one point, he gave us a quiz and then left for a Christmas party. In-person classes rarely run for the full duration and usually end hours early. The student ID process was frustrating, requiring multiple email and in-person follow-ups with no action. I am currently the only person in class with a ID (after 6 months) and that is because I wanted to withdraw. For an NCEA-accredited institution, this place is shockingly unprofessional. Think twice before enrolling.

rude tutors in micro credentials business analysis , excellent support staff though worth mentioning. it was free so didnt wasted money, but was waste of time and emotional stress and harassment. complaints goes to deaf ears. if you got skills and just need a name sake certificate then this will be the place, apart from that take away is nil

Not recommended at all for beginners even if it is advertised . I joined the micro credential Introductory to Software development. The class started well and I saw β…” of the class dropping after 6 weeks. The students who remained were at a much higher level than me with programming experience and started β€œleading the show” . I got completely lost and no one helped. When asking for guidance, I was sent to different directions, even a β€œGoogle it” one !!! The class completely lacked structure and we were NOT introduced to database, to javascript. Only β€˜cut and paste” template of code without explanation which is very hard to β€œplay with” at beginners level. Feedback is not accepted in that school as they completely removed me from the access of the class after I questioned their focus on the highest level only, the one who could manage 5 databases, 10 pages ands filled pages and pages of codes…. The course have been paid and I am not sure that Futures Skills behaviour to remove me WITHOUT NOTICE, WITHOUT EXPLANATION is LEGAL. I send a full report to NZQA to inform them of that illegal practice.

Great staff at Wiri Campus. Lexia at reception was really helpful and professional with a smile. Then went on to meet Admin, Alka who was just wonderful with loads of info and valuable advice. Study environment looks great with modern facilities. Will highly recommend to all. Free courses offered at value other high fee paying institutes dont even provide. Just enrolled and started. Really excited.
