Useless service. As soon as Lana & Kevin left - this company fell apart. It takes almost 5 working days to get an answer. Even calling multiple times a day and constant emails - still no response. I've sent multiple crates to Samoa with no issues dealing with Lana or Kevin. Scott you need to do better!

EDIT TO THEIR RESPONSE DOWN BOTTOM- I have receipts showing that I called last week, and the conversation alone was disappointing. The girl who answered gave nothing but βyesβ and βnoβ responses, so I had to lead the entire phone call just to get basic information. The only reason I reached out in the first place was because your staff mentioned that shipment dates to Samoa can change depending on weather conditions. That is exactly why I called. I needed to double check. My questions were simple, reasonable, and important. They were about the condition and cleanliness of the shipping drums you provide, details that are not mentioned anywhere on your website. Many logistics and freight companies fail to properly clean drums or refuse to open lids for inspection before handover, which creates hygiene concerns for families. Some companies even deliver drums sealed without checking the inside. These details matter when customers are sending goods overseas, especially for their loved ones. Because your customer service team could not answer these very basic concerns, and no one followed up as promised, I made the decision to go with a different company. Ignoring your return call was intentional. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through already gave me the answer I needed. Whatβs the point of having a customer service line if staff are not trained to communicate effectively, or worse, tell customers theyβll follow up and never do? A business that canβt uphold communication, responsibility, and hygiene expectations loses customer trust. The website may look good, but service needs to match. Do better. Own your service. Fix your communication Honestly, the worst service ever. The ladies answering the phones, whatβs the point of sitting there to take customer calls when they canβt answer a single simple question about shipments to Samoa and some info that was not provided online or even basic schedules that I assumed staff would already know? I was told multiple times someone would call or email me back with the information or answer my questions. I waited, and nothing ever came. No call, no email, just radio silence. Their website looks fancy, but communication is disappointing. Thankfully, I checked the customer reviews before making any payment, because this experience alone showed me how unprofessional their follow-through is.

I've been using Custom Logistics for 4 years and only too happy to provide a good review. I import packaging in full containers and LCL and use them for everything from booking in China through to delivery in Auckland. Owners really care, staff try their best, good rates, what more can I ask for. Very happy and recommend to others. Thanks guys!

This was the absolute worst company to deal with. I would suggest that you avoid this company and go with a more reputable company. We imported two containers of machinery from Australia. Our supplier contracted this company to act on its behalf but these guys fell sorely short. My complaints are mostly poor communication and lack of follow up. Very hard to contact and dismissive in emails. Containers sat after being emptied and were not collected when asked. Then they tried to charge us demurrage. Additional expenses were also incurred through lack of follow up with customs and we were again asked to foot the bill. I suspect that these guys are not really up to anything too complex and in my experience are not very professional.

They do not value their customers. Iβm not going or refer their services to anyone else. Took my family in the Cook Islands a month to receive their stuff is just ridiculous. Very expensive for such a poor and pathetic services.

Avoid, Avoid, .... AVOID!!!! The 1 month freight service from Australia is better described as 3. They never contacted me about my shipment, all communications were all initiated by me. Scott said he would call me back on 3 occasions, never once any call backs. When he finally emailed through the custom documents that I signed and sent back, he never submitted them and they sat in his email for 2 weeks, until I resent the documents to another staff member Tala. In Tala's defense things slightly improved after I made contact with her, but only slightly. Then they wouldn't actually deliver my shipment, they had me pick it up from their "Wellington depo" which is actually a 40min drive from Wellington btw. When I arrived the staff there refused to release my shipment because I didn't have the release documents, I was never provided or instructed to bring. So after more back and forth uncomfortably arguing with them, they eventually printed me one, which I signed and gave back. I feel like this has been some kind of prank and practical joke and look back and laugh now. But I really think service is so poor to the point that they are not treating customers decently or with integrity. 1 Stas is too much⦠Half a star.

I wouldn't recommend this company, avoid if you can. I used Custom Logistic Services two times for consolidation and freight from China. The first time was ok. The second time my shipment was delayed by two months, the ETA has been moved a few times and I haven't been informed about that. The manager keeps telling me that it will be delivered "tomorrow" or "next week" and it's still not cleared with Customs. As I need these goods for business I had to reorder them a few times with express delivery , paid for it twice and lost time, money and energy.

Thanks Dora and Scott for good communication - they always do their best to make sure everything goes smoothly, we will definitely continute to use them in the future.

Arrogant driver. Blocks the entire footpath. Forcing people with pram and dog to walk around his truck on the road. There were plenty of parks less than 20m walk.
