   Matt took my family out on a day trip… he was an exceptional skipper and didn’t leave a hook bare. He travelled around the island to secure the best fish..he was patient and understanding with our 10 year old and helped all our less experienced fishing party to make sure it was a fun and easy experience! Even saw a few bronzeys while he filleted all our fish! Memories were made and I would recommend this to anyone even slightly considering Matt as a option! Aime is super fast as replying to any emails! We really appreciate all the effort put in!

   Great skipper and very helpful for the kids baiting and taking fish off... but extremely disappointed when were told the day before that we would catch livies then head to tiri and out towards Shearer's rock and catch kings then on to the snappers and if we dont get much he would stay out longer til we did...well that didn't happen... all because he said he had a mate out there and he hadn't caught much.... what a joke :( sorry to be blunt but that's me and on the day we travelled probably in all about 5 miles for the whole half day trip and fished not far from where the ferry comes in... we went a lil on the north side of the island with a weak attempt to catch a kingfish and then back to catching (kindergarten) snappers to throw back so the shags could eat them. 700 for private charter for 4 hours only and I am sure he would have saved a fortune not going to where the big fish are out past tiri and yet didn't offer any discount even tho the gas spent on travelling about 30 or 40 dollars worth tops for like I say less than 3 miles from where we put the boat in was shocking!! Wont be back

   Had an amazing day out on the boat with the Chasing Tail team. Matt and Shay were expert fisherman who helped us easily catch out quota. We were pulling up fish the whole time, and Matt never let our hooks be empty with bait. They were also pros at tricking the shags into letting the little fish make it away. Best day out on the boat in a long time, and Matt and Shay were the nicest guys, and absolute professionals. Highly recommend them.
