Have been going to this practice for a few years. Since Covid, they have gone downhill. Have a start of an Ear Infection. Not to the stage of an emergency. Asked to see a doctor even as a walk in and they say to go to A&E. I'd not recommend this practice.

BEWARE: if you are healthy and don’t need many appointments, don’t enrol with these clowns. They will call you and harass you if you haven’t had an appointment in a while, I had 3 phone calls in 1 week asking me to bring my private parts in to get checked, which usually would be fine but the sense of urgency and desperation from them made me very uncomfortable. They are now claiming to have “lost” my enrolment form, which is a load of bull, they just don’t like that I don’t need 10000 appointments a year. They don’t care about their patients, just the $$$$$ you can give them. Shame on you Quaymed.

Unfortunately these doctors financially took advantage of me during a medical episode. I understand that not everyone is trained to deal with stuff like this in GP system but the experience I had was frankly tragic. I had sympathy because it was right at closing, and a GP clinic is not usually the optimal place for this, however these guys are the only ones around this area… I walked in during a medical episode and explained to the receptionist asking for one specific service to gain evidence of this medical issue, and I was met with a relatively rude “we’re closing in 15 minutes.” Yes I understand but this is a medical episode and will take less than 5 mins to service. It was only after providing them with my specialist letter from more experienced doctors they started to take me seriously. The nurse was so so lovely and accommodated me; however they then asked me to see the doctor afterwards. I specifically requested not to do this because I know I didn’t need it, but I went anyway because everyone looked concerned and obviously I was in a medical episode so I also was. The doctor then gave me a completely erroneous “diagnosis” that I knew was literally not true at all but I honestly just wanted to get out of there. Then he proceeded to tell me my specialist (who I have been working with for years and who has literally had cameras and equipment inside of my body to diagnose my medical condition, and is one of the smartest people in NZ at what he does) was wrong about my real diagnosis. He proceeded to give me an incorrect explanation at what he thought it was like having the medical condition my specialist diagnosed me with which was just plain wrong… Didn’t realise in the moment how abhorrent and unprofessional this was. He kept going on and on about his recommend diagnosis. He had also said he would not charge me for this appointment - but then ended up charging me anyway despite all of this. I was also still in a medical episode this whole time whilst this was occurring. I then went to the ED 2 hours later for the exact same medical episode and the ED nurses advised me that it was the doctor’s job to refer me having seen that evidence, and that it was completely wrong of them to not refer me to the ED and to send me back home and still charge me for that service... Do not recommend - go literally anywhere else if you want to be treated like a human being.

Called up the reception this morning as I developed caught cold/cough and fever from my little one last night due to which I was finding difficult to breathe. And I am pregnant with second trimester on going. After listening to me less than a minute the receptionist said there are no available slots to accommodate, without understanding the critical situation I was in and not even offering a phone consult or triage she just hung up. Not every appointment can be planned sometimes you just need medical care, what’s the point of registering at a local GP when they cant consider urgent cases.

The clinic is clean and comfortable, the doctors are friendly and professional, and the midwives are also good. There's only one friendly and beautiful customer service representative who usually sits in the corner near the staff room. Other than that, the staff are not very friendly and don't smile enough.

Never authorise this clinic to auto claim on your southern cross because they will then abuse it by charging a full consultation without consulting you. and when you call back and try to understand what happened, guess what no one seem to be interested to apology as long as they got the money $$$

Worst doctors I've ever been to waited almost 30mins in the cold and rain due to their covid protocol and being late...they finally let us in 30mins + and I still haven't seen a doctor. Yes I was waiting 1 hour +

Only have positive things to say about this Doctors, my situation is a complicated one but they made the enrolment, the appointment and the tests very easy and calm for me while I had alot of anxiety! They are a busy hub and they deal with alot of people but for they were very nice and understanding!

We joined this clinic about 8yrs ago, we used to live and work in the city area but now moved to West Auckland. We are happy to stay in this clinic because the staff are friendly and helpful, and the doctors and nurses are professional and caring about their patients. I'm also working in a clinic, so I understand how difficult to book an appointment during the winter season, especially with the COVID pandemic. I want to say they have managed their booking system very well and reasonable.

I am very impressed with the services, doctors and ease of access of this practice. I have moved around the country a little recently and so have been to a few different practices over the country and have never been somewhere that is so affordable, so quick and easy to get appointments yet so thorough with very knowledgeable, kind doctors. Not only have they been thorough but follow up has been great also. It was also incredibly easy to enrol which has been a major issue with other services in the country. Thank you very much!
