   I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Plumbing World Manukau. I recently purchased a shower unit costing around $300. Unfortunately, it was not the right fit for my shower setup. We did not install or use the product – our plumber simply opened the box to check the fitting and returned it immediately after confirming it was not suitable. When I returned to the store to request a refund, the staff rudely refused, claiming it had been “used.” This is completely untrue, as the item was never installed or damaged. It was repacked exactly as we received it. Their behavior was not only unhelpful but also felt discriminatory and dismissive. Being treated this way over a legitimate return was beyond frustrating and feels like a complete waste of $300. I expected better from a company like Plumbing World, especially in terms of honesty, customer service, and basic respect. I hope the head office takes note of how the Manukau branch treats customers, especially when we follow the proper process. I will not be recommending this branch to anyone, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I did.

   Really good showroom and excellent range of kitchen/bathroom products. One of the few plumbing stores open on a Saturday. We received excellent customer service from everyone we dealt with, especially when we had an issue with an item, which they promptly resolved. Big thanks to Sandra!

   Went here on Sat Morn 18/5 and served by Phillip (name on Invoice). Fantastic service, first part supplied did not fit, but second option works brilliantly. He was happy to offer advice and pointed out what to do on one of the cistons in the showroom. Will definatly return if i need other plumbing supplies.

   We went to Plumbing World looking for a washer for our toilet flush valve. The staff Philip took out a few washers to compare to the washer we have. Unfortunately they don't have the same size. Philip told us to try across the road to Mico Plumbing and said if they don't have he will modify their one for me. We found the washer in Mico Plumbing just before the last minute they close. Although we did not buy from Plumbing World, we are very happy with the service received from Philip.

   We have received poor customer service. We went to this store to purchase products for our new batbathroom and toilet. The saleswoman assisted us and marked into a catalogue the various products we wanted to purchase so our designer could place the order. The saleswoman marked one the codes incorrectly and we now have a shower installed that we specifically said we did not want. The saleswoman is passing the blame with our designer saying she has delivered the products that we ordered. While this is technically correct it is because she gave us the wrong codes. I would definitely not recommend this branch. We also did not have one of the items we requested included in our order. As we were living away from home while the bathroom was installed we did not pick up the issues straight away. Since writing this review I have been contacted by the manager for this store. Grant has been fantastic at taking our complaint on board and has sorted everything out for us that was mishandled by the sales consultant we dealt with. I have nothing but the highest praise for his service and we are very satisfied customers now.
