   Outstanding Service from NZ Funds I have been incredibly impressed with the service from NZ Funds. Even though I don’t have a large KiwiSaver balance, I still receive the advice and support I need as though I do. As an insurance adviser myself, I really value what it means to get a proper review, and NZ Funds absolutely delivers on that. They treat their clients with the same level of care that I give to my own. No question has ever been treated as a silly one, and I’ve genuinely learnt so much through the process. I also love that I have my own adviser who is always available when I need clarity or have questions. Since sorting out my own KiwiSaver, I’ve even set up small investment funds for my grandchildren that they’ll be able to access at certain ages. Every step of the way has been simple, supportive, and stress free. I truly feel valued as a client, and I couldn’t recommend NZ Funds more highly.

   Truly recommend NZ Funds as a team to partner with. My experience with them has been top notch. Chris Monnier was the ideal person to interact with me (knowledgable and not pushy), plus he was able to explain their Kiwisaver proposition clearly and even challenged some of my pre-existing notions. Since transferring my funds over, I have noticed solid/significant growth in my portfolio. Love the app and Chris continues to answer questions whenever I message. Best decision ever!

   I might give an even lower score if there were one. I invested with NZ Funds for five years with the expectation of good return under the so called professionals. What I actually experienced was rageously high fees together with imposed finance advisor fees and extremely disappointing low returns, completely contrary to what they boasted about their performance. I had both our family kiwisaver and investment accounts with them. When I decided to switch our kiwisaver accounts to another provider, I was forced to sell my investment account when the market was at the bottom by the financial advisor, which caused me thousands of dollars loss, plus their ridiculously high fees. Anyone who considers investing please KEEP FAR AWAY this company. What they do is to devour your hard earned money with their recommended financial advisors.

   In May 2021 invested some funds into a WealthBuilder account (basically KiwiSaver but you can get your money out) over the 5 months my investment decreased each week until NZFunds had lost 30% loss of my money, I got out in December before it went down even more. I was aware I was in a higher risk portfolio - but was not expecting a 30% loss in 5 months, NOT HAPPY. I also lost 30% from my KiwiSaver as well. Moved to Milford and it is already up. I could have gone to the Casino and had a better outcome.

   Everytime I & my partner ask for a kiwisaver statement/pre withdrawal, our numbers go down instantly and this happened with both of our kiwisavers. When we first ask for a pre withdrawal, our numbers went down instantly and it didn’t go up within 6 months despite the government contribution being added & the continuous contributions. It only went up a bit after 6 month period but when we asked again for a pre-withdrawal recently our numbers went down again and unfortunately it was back to the numbers when we first asked for pre-withdrawal. To sum it up, we are losing a lot of money with NZFunds considering that our numbers didn’t improve for the past 9 months. Where did our contributions go for the past 9 months? do you mean it’s always a negative??!!! what are you doing??!!! what a waste!!!Not recommended. I hope more people will step forward to share their negative experiences with you. I lost my total trust with this provider.
