Had my second knee replacement surgery recently. From the surgeon, to the anesthetist to all of the nursing and support staff, the care is excellent here. Very grateful.
Our experience did not start off well. We entered the bldg at 12.25 and there was a sign up informing us the receptionist had gone to lunch. There was absolutely no sign of any people around and we just sat and waited. Absolutely no idea what to expect next. However we did have a lovely Dr but no real outcome for my mother who lives in pain constantly.
The nurses were so attentive and informative on after care and discharge. They were extremely helpful after surgery and made sure I left with all knowledge on aftercare. A 10/10 experience compared to surgery prior in the general side of the hospital.
From the friendly efficient receptionist at the front desk to the pre-op nurses, the anaesthetist, the surgeon, the PACU nurses and the discharge nurse, this team is brilliant. I'm glad U live in a country with such dedicated staff of such a high calibre.
Such a pleasant experience given the nature of my visit. Staff were incredibly kind, friendly and nurturing. The nurses in particular were so sweet and comforting and I feel so grateful for all of their efforts to ensure I was well looked after.
Thank to the amazing medical team, all doctors and nurses who took care of me yesterday, your support is greatly valued and much appreciated!
Fabulous NS hospital. From pre op to surgery to post op. A 3 night stay after full knee replacement. Nurses were brilliant. Physio Giorgia Thank you so much. Pharmacist very helpful and professional. Anesthetist Vera absolutely fantastic. And of course the great Mr Ali Bryan. Caring advice and support were amazing. 7 days home and making very good progress thanks to the way I was set up in hospital. My second knee replacement, first was private. Much better support to achieve progress in public hospital. Thanks again. I won’t mention the food. Simple and nutritious would improve it greatly.
I had my laparoscopy for endometriosis done here on the 13th April and all I can say is wow! The staff here from reception to surgeons, to nurses right down to the food lady and orderly were just amazing! They treat you with dignity,kindness and respect and the 2 days i stayed here i felt like I was at home. Thank you Dr Fiona Connell, my anaesthetist Dr James, Anna, the kind girl Brooke that kept me company before my surgery, my nurses Hannah and Lucy, and everyone else that was in theater with me (sorry can't remember everyone's names) and all the staff at ESC that made my stay one to remember.North shore hospital could do with some training from the staff here on how to treat their patients. Thank you again!
