   Scammers. Rude. Unprofessional. That’s Octopus Motors in a nutshell. Their “customer service” is a joke — yelling at customers, acting like you’re the problem, and showing zero care for your car. I took my car in for a simple WOF, and my AC stopped working immediately after. They overcharge, deliver sloppy work, and treat people like garbage. Avoid this place unless you want stress, frustration, and to be ripped off — they don’t deserve your money or your trust.

   The customer service at Octopus Motors is shockingly bad — rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. After a routine WOF, my car’s AC immediately stopped working, leaving me frustrated and out of pocket, and their staff showed zero accountability or concern. They charge high prices yet deliver sloppy, careless service, making the whole experience stressful and infuriating. Avoid this shop entirely if you value your car, your money, or being treated like a human being.

   I had a disappointing experience with Octopus Motors LTD (Hillcrest). I took my car in for a WOF, and they failed it on several points. When I inquired about the cost of repairs, the quote they gave me was extremely high. I then went to another mechanic, recommended by a friend, and they fixed all the issues for about half the price. Furthermore, the second mechanic pointed out that some of the issues that Octopus listed as failing points wouldn’t actually have caused a fail. Overall, I felt misled and overcharged by this shop. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend them.

   Always fast and accurate. Ming and the team get you the warrant check or work done quickly and are pragmatic when it comes to simple family cars and budgets. Have been coming here for years and love the honesty and reliability.

   Just got ripped off at this workshop. The price charged was much higher than the price agreed. They don’t seem to be worried about the law. I really doubt if they would steal customers’ properties in the car or car parts to make more profits.

   Very bad experience, the oil cap missing after service ! First driving my car for dinner after this morning service. We drive for 30km and arrive destination,after I park my car I can smell something bad and realise all the oils spill out. And I open and check the cap is not there . Very terrible… it may cause accident while on the road, especially when rainy day , it’s very slippery. So scary, three lives in the car. Never come back here again.
