I love the Augustine store in New Market. I'm glad I popped in as there is a great range of beautiful clothing for my size (plus size 16/18). The staff are amazing and were very helpful assisting me to find the perfect dress for special occasions. Thank you team for a wonderful shopping experience. 1 star is for customer service we received from your assistants in New Market shop. Gossiping behind your customer's back is very rude! And all we asked was to advise what size fits better.
While shopping for a birthday dress and trying on a few the ladies were helpful, especially the store manager ( I think she was) as all good partners he waited and his son was getting grumpy as he wanted his snack, the store manager said to give him them and if he makes a mess we have a vacuum which kept him happy if I could give a 10-star rating for service I would.
The NM store is so overwhelming, all the clothing blends into one another and needs more structure. I may not look like the typical "Augustine customer" but I would expect to not have eyes rolled at customers when being asked about a particular item. As I was browsing, I noticed alot of items with threads that hadn't been cut off, which shows that the time and care into the volume of clothing produced isn't being taken. Less is more... There are some really beautiful items but customer experience takes precedent over a pretty dress.
