Our home away from home. My boy's absolute favourite place to learn, grow and play. We love our community here and enjoy all the educational opportunities (for both tamaiti and adults)!
My son is gross motor development delay, he made a huge progress in playcentre, his first standing first walking all happened during the playcentre term, other parents help him and my family a lot, very lovely learning environment.
A well resourced early childhood centre with lovely local whΔnau who do a great job providing and supporting learning and fun for babies, toddlers and young children. Always have so much fun there!
A fun family environment that offers play time with your kids, new friendships for not only your child but as a mum friendships with other parents too. Playcentre is the best decision I have ever made for my family. There are so many resources, equipment and activities to stimulate, educate and enjoy. My child loves it.
Lovely and supportive community, both my sons love being there and getting involved in the wide range of activities and play options! Lots of learning opportunities for both children and adults. The parents all care about the safety and well-being of everyone who attends, physically, emotionally and mentally. I absolutely recommend checking this place out via the info nights as it isn't your usual ECE and has a whole whanau approach
What a wonderful Playcentre! My daughter thrived attending here until she was ready for school as a confident young girl. Now I get to do it all again with my son! Iβve learned a lot through the education programme and firmly believe itβs made me a better parent. Iβve also made lovely friends for life. You really get out of it what you put in. Iβd recommend to anyone who wants to be part of watching their children grow in their early years.
Mt Wellington playcentre has been a wonderful playcentre to be a part of with my 2 children. I feel they both thrive in the environment and I too have had a chance to make lifelong friends.
Not welcoming or accommodating for new people. I wanted to take my son who is 9 months for playgroup. I contacted them and they advised because of covid restrictions they needed us to attend an information evening. I emailed back because the time 7.30 pm was too inconvenient due to work commitments. As a result they haven't allowed my boy to attend their playcentre which is a shame.
