Our Kura is now Year 1-13. Last year 50% of our Year 12 got NCEA Level 2 with Excellence and 50% got Level 2 endorsed with Merit

An excellent, well-run primary school nestled beautifully under Owairaka. Full Māori immersion. If you are encouraging your pre-school children to learn Māori, or they already know it and you're looking for a new primary school, then this kura is for you. We have two tamariki, both fluent in Māori and English by age 7, just brilliant.
This school is above all to teach children, the leaders of tomorrow. The uniqueness and faith to be spread among the whānau is a pillar of education that will be passed down to the child. The oars of the Kaihatu are the influences, and the whole family has to carry the manuka. The whole school sings very well every day to encourage the child to become a leader.
