   Worst years of my life, and school camp was like nothing else. they had leeches in the mud run (even though they said they didn't) and me and my friends had to be pulled out of our tent in the pouring rain because we were mixed genders but they didn't say that we couldn't do so. Only when it was bucketing they felt like separating us

   Absolutely loved this school!!! We had an amazing experience with students, teachers, principals and the learning and sports experience! All the trips like William pike trips, camps, athletic days were all so fun and a great opportunity to get out of the classroom. The year 8 ball was amazing SO FUN! Teachers don’t have too high expectations like I have found with my high school, it is genuinely a super fun and easy school. The only problem we have found with the school is some of the senior leadership team aren’t the best they are a-bit rude but always handled the situations professionally. Vaping was sometimes a problem too, bathrooms always smelt fruiti tuti which isn’t too great for 10-13 year olds but it happens Such a cool school, if you are deciding between sending your kids to balmoral and kowhai choose kowhai balmoral wasn’t good whatsoever for my sister so we tried kowhai and it was so amazing! Thank you guys

   Students here are extremely rude on public transport. They are loud and use a lot of profanity. I also saw one student spit on one of the train seats. Disappointing

   Well in my opinion going to this school in a special unit has been an amazing experience and I got a good teacher and she help me learn more to help me get good grade for end of year
