   I’ve seen better haircuts on a sheep! Have never left a Google review before, but felt compelled to write this after my experience at Mt Eden Barber. Worst haircut I’ve had by a long shot - I’m confident I could have done a better job myself. Barber was rushed, uninterested, and had no attention to style. Will not be back.

   I felt compelled to leave a review after reading the two reviews below. The barber here is a bit of a character and an old school craftsman. He is skilled & genuinely cares about doing a good job. He isn’t rude but doesn’t have much time for pleasantries either. Once or twice, he’s been frustrated at my vague instructions and I’ve learned to be direct about what I want & then trust his judgment. Not long ago, I got a cut in another town and it was a bit of a disaster. He saw me out in public and remarked about all the ways he could fix it up. Now that’s personal service. Come here for a great haircut at a very reasonable price, not for empty banter and a vacant smile!

   I took my son there and I have been very surprised by the behaviour of one of the guy who didn't show any nice welcome . He was rude, not friendly and he even thrown away the booster seat for kids in front of us. He talked to us with contempt and cutting my son's hair with brutality (from what my son told me afterwards). This is enough ! Clients or not, we all can offer and deserve a minimum of manners and courtesy in this world
