   Unprofessional experience. The owner, Puneeta Chadha, reached out for a Shopify store design, requested free samples, and kept changing her stance between wanting a freelancer and an agency. After multiple excuses and wasted time (including being sent product photos and asking for revised invoices), she blocked communication without payment. Freelancers & agencies should proceed with caution.

   We purchased a 2 piece moon sofa with an ottoman chair from them with customised fabric and color in December 2024 In the design that we saw in the store and online, both the pieces were matching without any gaps, but the one we received had gap in between. We were told that the sofa will be picked up and rectified it but its been almost 4 months and I have been chasing them every week, but still no action has been taken.

   We ordered from Sofa Creations as it seemed very very reasonable prices. We were really happy with our purchase, the sofas arrived in good time and looked amazing. Good job Sofa Creations!! However... BE AWARE Sofa Creations are as hopeless as you could ever get with customer service. They do not stick to their warranty. Our sofas have no over locking at seams and minimal seam at all (less than 1cm). The seams are coming away in multiple areas of the entire set of sofas. Sofa Creations maintain the issue is a fabric fault and are outside of the 2 year fabric warranty so will not take any action. We had two opinions from two different upholstory company's which both reported it was a manufacturing fault and clearly not an issue with the fabric itself. We even had the fabric manufacturers view the sofas and confirm it was not an issue with the fabric, rather the manufacturing. So here we have a set of sofas, less that 5 years old (well within the manufacturing warranty) that are coming appart at the seams. Puneeta did offer to recover the section of one sofa that is most ruined, as a good will factor BUT we would need to supply the fabric. (the same fabric is no longer available so we would have to purchase a completely different fabric just for that section of the sofa. Who in their right mind wants a sofa with mix-matched fabric??!!) Plus freight charge to and from the North Island on us. Sofa Creations are not making any communication what so ever after many many phone calls, emails and text messages. 100% rude and appalling, unfair customer service. Would never recommend this outfit to anyone, ever. We are stuck with a ruined set of sofas well within warranty and they are taking no responsibility for their fault.

   Terrible service and quality. (See other negative reviews). 3 couchs that we got wrapped in top quality fabric by sofa creations have failed. The seams were not joined correctly, and split after 3.5 years. Poneeta best offer was for us to send the couches from Christchurch to Auckland, she would repair the back of the couch for free with a different type of fabric, we would then pay for shipping back to Christchurch. If the seams were done correctly (1cm overlock stiching) we wouldn't have this issue. One of the couchs is completely gone, the other 2 couchs are starting to split - Junk. She's refusing to back up her 5 year warranty, would highly recommend not dealing with sofa creations.

   Worst sofa I’ve ever seen in my life, terrible quality better off going to Kmart & founded by a nasty human being who harassed & love bombed me on social media. Definitely do not recommend!!

   We ordered a couch from Sofa Creations and couldn't be happier. The in store service (Auckland branch) was friendly and knowledgeable, the price was excellent, the sofa was delivered on-time and is great quality. The turn around was only a month which compared to other furniture retailers was significantly faster. Plus the sofa was made onsite behind the showroom. Great to support NZ businesses and products. Thanks Sofa Creations! Highly Recommended..
