   I had the most humbling and beautiful experience in the gynecology and operating department at Middlemore Hospital the past few days. I was there from Friday the 6th September 2024 to Tuesday the 10th September 2024. The doctors, nurses and staff were absolutely incredible, kind caring, compassionate and thoughtful. The nurses were doing 12 hour shifts and they were as gentle from the start of the shift to the end of the shift. I know the hospital and staff get a lot of fleck but I want to honour and encourage all the nurses, doctors and staff that do a lot of the unseen good work that no one talks about. I was in pain and missing my loved ones after a long surgery and the team there made me feel at home as much as possible. I could not have asked for more. Thank you soooo much for all your care, hard work and sacrifice. I really appreciate you all. Xoxo
