   I had a company vehicle that needed a puncture repair, Bridgestone Automotive on Whangaparoa Road said their guy who does this is on leave for 3 weeks can’t help, Bridgestone Dave Brock on Whangaparoa Road told us to just bring the tyre in and turned us away when we arrived stating we need the car as well. Ray Garratts Tyre sorted it out on the spot, very helpful and Shaldon provided great service, turned a week long drama into a 45 minute solution, will be back.

   We happened to have broken down and pulled into the front carpark of Ray Garratt's Tyres with the car overheating and a blown oil cooler hose on a Sunday. It was our lucky day as, just after we stopped the car Sheldon (The owner) was driving by and pulled in beside us to see if we needed any help. He arranged for us to leave our 2.8 tonne caravan in front of his house and gave us a lone car to get back to Pakuranga.We returned a few days later to collect the car and caravan and continue our travels. The service we received was beyond our expectation and we are very grateful that their workshop was able to complete the repairs and do a full service for us on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We highly recommend Sheldon and his team!

   These guys are awsome. I had a puncture on a Saturday afternoon and they were closed. They said bring the holden colarado up and we will fix the tyre. They phoned me after hours on Sunday and installed the tyre. Changing my stair tyre over. Great service Im a commercial customer and our vehicle has to run. Well done guys Im coming to u with much more work for our vehicles

   My side mirror had been smashed, and I was having difficulty installing the replacement by myself. I showed up here without an appointment, hoping to get some assistance with the mirror, and Sheldon kindly offered to help. He not only fixed it free of charge but also stayed 40 minutes after closing (in the rain too) to ensure the job was completed properly. I am truly grateful for his generosity and professionalism—especially after three other shops in the area had declined to help me out. Thank you again, Sheldon.

   "I had a terrible experience at this place. The customer service was poor, and the staff lacked expertise. One technician attempted to remove my wheel using the wrong socket, damaging all five bolts before realizing the mistake and calling for assistance. I was refused a quick fix for a minor puncture (see photos). I was trying to get to work on the North Shore while avoiding driving on my almost-new run-flats. The technician claimed the puncture couldn’t be repaired and insisted the tyre needed replacing. Even after I accepted the risk and responsibility for the repair, they still refused and tried to sell me a new tyre instead. This was my second and final visit, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. On my previous visit for a tyre replacement, a young employee even offered to do a 'cashie' job to lower the cost, which was unprofessional. I'm really disappointed to see this level of service in our community. In the end, I bought a puncture repair kit from Repco around the corner and fixed the tyre myself in just 15 minutes.
