The team definitely went above and beyond by fixing one of the bolts on my wipers that was lose for no additional cost. Thank you Mac's Auto for your excellent & quick service.    I recently moved to Manurewa and decided to give this place a try for a WOF. While the inspection itself was fine, I found the receptionist to be somewhat opportunistic. When we enquired about a service, the quoted fee changed unexpectedly, so we chose not to proceed. We did have some minor repairs done, but the cost was surprisingly high given the nature of the work. Having visited many auto shops over the years, I’d suggest others approach this one with caution. I’ll be trying a different local provider next time to see how they compare.

   I use to live locally and used this mechanic before the current owners. They quoted me for work that didn't need doing. I went to a different, trustworthy mechanic and was told that everything macs auto quoted me for did not need fixing. Definitely avoid this place!!!!!!!!!

   Booked in my car for a service at 1230. Instead of waiting there with my 2 boys decided we’d go to the local shops and the receptionist agreed it was fine and they’d call when the car was done. An hour and a half had passed and I’m thinking surely it’s done by now and they’ve just forgotten to call. Head back for the car to be parked in the same spot UNTOUCHED. Incredibly frustrating. Will not be returning.
