I have never been so angry with a person behind a counter. Worst customer service ever! i cant believe the attitude from this guy that works there. Told me to put the package i wanted to send into a another bag then one i had sealed it he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't send it in that bag because now its two small to put the label on - he then asked me to pay for both bags. I said you didn't tell me about the label - he said, so! it ended with him ripping the bag apart giving my parcel back and us both yelling at each other! I urge anyone wanting to walk into the place to turn around and walk back out.

Horrifically bad service & rude owner. Overcharged the lady in front of me - seems to be over charging for bags and thing that are set in price by NZ Post. Proceed to then lecture me after I queried a price. Seems like they are well know despite only being open for 12months for overcharging and intimidation of customer

DO NOT GO HERE. The absolute worst experience. The owner of dairy + post shop is horrible to deal with and goes out of his way to be unhelpful and rude. He literally tries his hardest to make it an awful experience to us the NZ Post office. He shouldn't be allowed to operate and represent NZ Post. My experience: 1. I went in send some important documents and wanted to know my options and costs. 2. Immediately he was rude, rattled off numbers with out actually looking it up and generally being super confusing about my option. 3. I decided I would fill out my paper work and ask again once I was fully ready to check out 4. At this time I asked again, again he was rude and unhelpful. I actually had to point out that he was acting annoyed with my questions but that i have genuine questions because I don't actually know my options. 5. Finally we got there, I went to pay and had signed a customs form in the wrong place. 6. He said he couldn't process it with that form and I'd have to fill out a new one BUT it was 5 minutes past when they stop processing international packages and refused to do it. I'd been there 20+min probably organising my documents and getting everything sorted and then at the last step he couldn't possible wait 2 min for me to fill out new forms. I said well I don't care if it goes out today. Can you take my payment and process it for tomorrow - he refused. I left not being able to send it. People like this shouldn't be allowed to operate customer service business. I will NEVER return. Save you time and go to Silverdale.

Some of the rudest people serving Iβve ever met. DO NOT go here. Went to post a package the man said I could but just be quick as it was close to 1pm. At 1pm as I was finishing up him and his coworker got so angry, shouting at me and another lady in the store instead of just saying they were now closed. I would not support a business like this.

Oh my word. Do NOT go here. The owner/operator is RUDE, does not understand customer service and should not be operating this service. My experience this morning went like this. I needed to return a clothing item to Australia. I had my own return postage satchel in which the dress was packaged securely and I wanted to ask for a few different courier options so I could make an informed decision regarding cost and speed of delivery. The owner told me that he could only give me ONE option, otherwise he would have to exit the programme and re-enter each time to give me another option. So bizarre. He quoted off the top of his head $90 for express. So given I was allowed ONE option I asked for him to give me the next option down, which he estimated would be $70. BUT warned me he would only process that option and I was welcome to go to any other NZ Post office if I wanted further options. I was STUNNED. So he measured (which wasn't required) and weighed my satchel and gave me a quote of $39. I said, ok so you were well off the mark there, I'm guessing the $90 option will be around $60. He said, sorry I can't tell you. I replied, actually, the amount of time we have spent discussing this, you could have given me 3 or 4 different pricing options. I proceeded to the area to write on the declaration form where a lovely elderly woman suggested to head to Silverdale NZ Post, which I did and had the BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, nothing was a problem, she gave me three pricings, I made my informed decision and off my parcel goes. I have made a formal complaint to NZ Post. I hope this arrogant man loses this opportunity, he is a very poor representation for NZ Post. I will never go there again.

Booked NZ courierpost with the appropriate dimensions. Took parcel in to be picked up as it was past the time our local driver does his rounds. The absolute wench of a lady behind the counter seemed annoyed and made mention it would not be delivered due to the rain even though it was an overnight courier. That's fine I thought, we'll let the depot sort it and they can make that judgement call. Obviously mentioning that irked her and she waited until 15 minutes to closing on a Friday to call me and tell me it was oversized and wouldn't be collected. I've since rechecked the dimms and weight and its fully within NZ courier posts capabilities. Avoid this store if you want any semblance of friendly service. The lady behind the counter really needs to retire as its clear she is thoroughly over it.

What on earth is happening to NZ Post? I went to drop of a courier parcel to catch last courier and they would not take the parcel because it had been paid for already. They are a NZ Post shop but would not take a NZ Post product. They were less than friendly about it too. What is the point of having a NZ Post shop that you cant post at?

A complaint from a business customer of NZPost on behalf of our customers who were told they could not post their prepaid return labelled bag at this post office & that a courier must collect it from their home. This has never been the case in our 4 years as a NZPost business customer. This parcel has been paid for & is a NZPost parcel, you are a NZPost shop. Please educate your staff as the NZPost website clearly states you can drop prepaid parcels to post offices. Many couriers also donβt like picking up just one parcel from residential addresses.

Take a look at the other feedback about this NZ Post site. There is one common issue it seems. The arrogant woman behind the counter! Well today it was my turn. This site (and the older man and women staff members) is letting NZ Post down! They are arrogant, often rude and offer no customer service what so ever. Today we have a storm in Auckland. I missed my courier pick up so called this NZ Post shop (within the Paper Plus store) to check they were open. The phone was answered by a man who I believe is the owner. He was OK on the phone. I asked him if they were open. He said yes. I advised him that I had some packages to drop down for the courier to pick up and asked if he was expecting the courier as usual. He said he was expecting him as usual and I advised I would be down shortly. I jumped in my car (in the storm) and drove down to the store. I handed my packages to the young lady at the counter. She was polite and advised that they were not able to take prepaid packages over the counter and that I would have to get the courier to pick them up from my home. I advised that I had called and checked in with the owner and he had not said anything about this. She said that was odd because it was his 'rule' and she advised that he had just left. I asked for his phone number so I could call to sort. She did not give me this instead going out the back and coming back with the always rude arrogant woman that works there as well. This woman advised the same thing. They would not take my Courier Post packages over the counter. I explained about my previous call to the owner and she basically said it was my fault because I never said on the phone that the packages were prepaid. This woman has NO IDEA what customer service is! Normally one might assume she was having a bad day but she is famous for her lack of customer service, her rudeness and her arrogance towards members of the public. God knows why and how she still has a job. She calls you sir but you can hear it is not genuine and there is little to no meaning or respect what so ever and she cares little about public service. What really peeves me off is it would not have been difficult to just acknowledge an error was made, take my packages for the courier who was coming there anyway to pick up the days mail and packages. No skin off their nose at all. To the young lady behind the counter..... get yourself another job. You have potential but not working with this team. They are not capable of teaching you about customer service or other skills necessary to deal with the public. You are wasting your time there and to you, I am sorry I lost my cool in front of you. I am usually a very placid and respectful bloke but today, dealing with such poor service just led me to lose it.

The older woman behind the NZ post office counter is extremely rude. Had parcels supplied by Go Sweet Spot (an NZ courier company) who provide DLE bags and shop through NZ post. The lady behind the counter denied my parcels, even though they fit well within the DLE size she showed me AND they are approved parcels by Go Sweet Spot who are partnered with NZ Post. Have been sending these out in those DLE parcels for almost 2 years through another post office with no issues. Will absolutely NEVER post in Orewa again - the lady behind the counter has no customer service skills, I see many others on Google have left reviews about her behaviour. Why is she employed?
