   Great psychiatrist. Really knows his stuff. He gave an accurate diagnosis. The patient had been misdiagnosed by previous psychiatrists and treated incorrectly with the wrong medication. Dr Mendel was quickly able to diagnose the patient correctly and prescribed the perfect medication. The patient is doing much much better. It is life changing. We are truly grateful for the help of Dr Mendel and cannot express more our gratitude to him! Thank you Doctor!

   If you are wanting to find a psychiatrist that genuinely cares, please do yourself a favour and visit Dr Mendel. Dr Mendel is an amazing psychiatrist who actually listens to his patients and takes his time with his diagnosis's. 10/10.

   Unproffesional, Unethical and Inconsiderate Extremely Poor Work Ethics Dr. Rui canceled my appointment when I reached his clinic on the appointment time with my 11-month-old baby boy. He also charged me full fee saying that he charged me because his time slot was taken by me. The day before, I suggested him that I will try to organize a nanny to accompany my son, otherwise I will cancel the appointment. Dr. Rui said "No don't cancel the appointment; it's not good for you. Just bring some toys so that he can play with them while you get the treatment". The next morning when I reached the clinic on appointment time with my baby boy and his toys. Dr. Rui said he can't work in the presence of toddler, and that he is going to cancel the appointment. This is unproffesional and inconsiderate to cancel the appointment, right on the appointment time. Dr. Rui was well aware of my situation, he should have canceled the appointment when I suggested him the day before. Otherwise he could have emailed me or called me to inform about the cancelation of appointment and issued me the refund online. I had to take the trouble of going to the clinic - taking uber ride with my toddler, whom i love more than anythingin the world, but its not easy. All the trouble could have been easily avoided, if the appointment was canceled the day before when I suggested it. Still i did not confront him for giving me the trouble of going to his clinic and canceling the appointment at the time i was already in there. I said OK , you can cancel my appointment and refund the money I paid for the TMS sessions. I thought he would give me full refund (including that day and the first TMS session that occured a day before - as TMS therapy is totally useless unless done in continuation, as said be Dr. Rui himself). I didn't expect him to even charge me for the appointment he was canceling. He was the one canceling the appointment on the last minute when I was already in the clinic for therapy. He said he can't treat me in the presence of toddler. He said he charged me because his time slot was taken by me. I didn't pay him to go to his clinic and watch his face while he cancels my appointment. I had paid him for TMS therapy, which he refused to give me because of my baby boy. He was neither willing to give me TMS treatment, nor willing to refund the money I had paid for it. This is extremely unprofessional, unethical, inconsiderate, unfair and unreasonable. No business should be allowed to operate in such an unproffeshional, unreasonable and unethical manner.

   I highly recommend Healing Minds. I was recommend the clinic through the ADHD Support Network and I am so glad I made the initial appointment. Seeing a psychologist can be a little bit daunting, but Dr Mendel has made me feel valued and welcome. I have been seeing Dr Mendel for just over 6 months and I can honestly say it is one of the best things I have done for myself. The sessions are informative and overall have provided me with the skills, information and guidance I was expecting to receive. My work life and well being has improved dramatically, I feel supported and cared for and above all listened to. The reception and admin team (Tess and Sandra) are always friendly and it is very easy to book an appointment. I highly recommend Healing Minds and have already referred other people their way.

   I had seen Dr.Mendel 4 times and I liked how he approached to his patients that he listens genuinely. However, i was very disappointed with his following up, because it’s been two months that I still haven’t gotten his answers as i’d sent him a number of emails to him regarding panic disorder medications.
