   I bought a queen mattress here for $800. The lady who served me had amazing customer service — she was friendly and really helpful. I paid for the mattress and collected it about a week later. After getting it home, I found the exact same model selling for about $200 less elsewhere. I contacted the store the same day I picked it up. They replied once but didn’t actually review anything or follow up, which was really disappointing as a customer. I honestly feel ripped off. For anyone thinking of buying from here, make sure you ask for a price match or check online first — you can often find a better sale or bargain. In response to the owner’s comment, Hi, thank you for responding. I just wanted to clarify a couple of things, because your explanations in email and on this review don’t seem to match. When I emailed the store on the same day I collected the mattress, I wasn’t asking you to match a Hamilton price — I mentioned multiple retailers, including stores in Auckland, selling the exact same mattress for significantly less. For example, another Auckland retailer currently lists it for $739, which is still much cheaper than the $800 I paid. In your email, I was told that the reason you couldn’t help was because you “don’t offer refunds or partial refunds once items are taken home.” But in your Google reply, you stated that you “cannot price match items found in Hamilton or any other city.” These two reasons contradict each other, which is why the communication feels confusing and dismissive from a customer perspective. I understand policies, but clear and consistent communication would have gone a long way. I raised the price difference immediately, and I genuinely hoped for a fair review of the situation or at least a goodwill gesture.

I went in recently to purchase a new pillow, I had been managing some neck pain from the intense load at training, and the team helped me find the perfect pillow.    I’ve been buying pillows from different stores over the last year buy none of them resolved my sleeping quality. I visited Bedpost Wairau thinking yet another place to buy a pillow. Met Mike, the business owner, and had a meaningful conversation and got a very good piece of advice on the pillow. He was also kind enough to lend me a pillow for a few days to ensure that particular pillow was making a difference. And it did! I think I’ll never buy pillow or bed from anywhere else in the future.    This is my first ever review and it's thanks to Mike (the owner). After visiting a few other bed stores and a bit conflicted on the advise I had been given, my partner and I walked in with our baby and we were greeted by Mike. Immediately he set things straight and it was obvious he was very knowledgeable on beds and just sleeping in general. What blew me away was that after the other stores had pointed me to the direction of $10000 beds with the latest cooling technology, he actually convinced us out of buying a new bed, and instead gave us a free set of special sheets and a pillow and told me if my problem was fixed ( overheating at night ) all he wanted in return was a nice review. So here I am honoring our agreement, and letting people know that Mike and his team are the remaining few sales people out there that genuinely want to help you out and are not there to just make a sale. If you need a new bed, or just advise in general, Mike and his team are the ones you need to go see. He even gave us good tips on sleeping habits for our baby. Will be visiting in the near future to buy our son his first bed, thanks again Mike!
