Exceeded our expectations! Totally recommend. Fun ride, amazing views. . Closeup of Mt Cook Peak and Glacier landing were the highlights. In addition. informative commentary and thrilling to fly through the mountains. We did the 50 helicopter tour that included Mt Cook and 3 glaciers: Tasman, Franz Josef, and Fox

Unless you are a mountaineer, this is a once in lifetime opportunity to fly up and hike the Tasman Glacier at the base of Aoraki/Mt Cook. We were given this as a wedding gift and it was the highlight of our trip! Inflite experiences operate a high quality and smooth service. The guide was excellent and full of knowledge of Mt Cook/Aoraki. Would highly recommend this as part of your trip, as well as staying in the Mt Cook Village (where there is plenty of accommodation) and doing some of the short/long walks around the ranges- you will never regret it.
As someone who tries to do a lot of adventures in NZ, I’ve been put off doing most of the heli and glacier trips as they all seemed really short for the cost. I am so glad I found this trip. Such good value and so much longer than most in NZ. I actually don’t think I’ve ever used the phrase Bucket List, but I did after this! I would recommend the sea plane and heli combo as you get 2 amazing experiences in one (thanks for letting me ride up front too!). From the drive to the airport, the flights themselves, seeing icebergs, learning about the Glacier and experiencing walking on actual deep snow… so many amazing aspects to the experience! Also kudos to the team who welcome you, make you feel at ease and even remembered me and called me by name, which was such a comforting and personable touch to an already great service. If your trying to decide if you should book it, trust me it’s worth it!
Got this as a gift (wow!) so don’t know price but SPECTACULAR!! Saw such a great perspective of of Auckland, city landmarks & nearby islands. Pilot shared his knowledge & able to see unique view of area - incredible private residences, volcanoes, & geographical phenomenon! If you only have a short time you really can cover it all!! A highlight of our 3 week trip!
