The learning environment is set up in a way that I feel culturally safe and familiar with. We lotu/karakia to open and close meetings and sessions. We engaged in whakawhanaungatanga to establish connections and relationships that link us to our Polynesian families, iwi and villages in our home Islands. The sessions whakamana Māori and Pacific people in business by using relevant examples to navigate the future of our businesses and trusts. The sessions are on time, planned and prefaced with tasks to complete to inform the facilitators of relevant examples to answer questions that we are seeking.
