This Ockham-built apartment building is really great. Build quality is top-notch and the location is fantastic. Once the Mount Eden Station is complete, Station R will be amongst the best situated apartment buildings in all of Auckland City for access to the train, high-end restaurants and bars, and most inner city neighborhoods are easily reached with a short walk or bicycle. Did I mention the views out the back, from inside the apartments? Unimpeded view of Mount Eden in all its glory. MJH (no full name given) is correct that there is construction noise at present (2022-2023) during the day, but this is also true for many many places in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, and elsewhere — nothing lasts forever though except for a short-sighted one-star social media review (mid-April 2022) that should probably be corrected or deleted.

Station R was a great apartment block to live in before the City Rail Link development started right on the doorstep - literally! We were lucky to get out but I feel for anyone currently living there. The noise alone is enough to make you want to leave let alone the mess and lack of privacy. Anyone looking beware as no ads or photos within them are reflective of the actual current situation of CRL right outside this apartment block.
