Today I visited the St Pierreβs Sushi outlet to buy sushi for my child. The lady at the counter informed me about a βbuy one, get one freeβ offer, which initially seemed good. However, I later found a hair inside one of the prawn sushi pieces. The hair was inside the packaging, not outsideβI confirmed this by touching it. I immediately returned it to the counter staff and explained that this was a food safety issue and should not be sold. She took it inside but then brought it back and insisted that the hair was outside and told me to take it, which was unacceptable and unprofessional. I clearly told her that I had already checked and the hair was inside, and her response was rude and disrespectful. On top of that, she charged me an extra $3 for the sushi. This was a very disappointing experience. Food safety and customer service should be taken seriously. Customers are not servants and deserve respectful treatment. I strongly suggest improving staff training and service standards.

We waited standing for 20 minutes during a busy time just to get a seat. The food was mediocre and tasted un-fresh. I found a small salmon bone in my sushi roll, which was highly unpleasant. βAn item we ordered separately was delayed by another 20 minutes. Staff claimed the kitchen never received the order due to a printer issue, which they blamed without properly apologizing or checking on us. No staff paid attention until we asked for the check. They even tried to charge us for the cancelled item. βThe service was unapologetic, blaming the machine for their mistake. I received terrible treatment and will not be returning.

Prawn katsu was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing. Most of what was on my bento meal tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. Service was great though but food quality needs improvement.

Sushi train in newmarket food mall. Great experience but im pescatarian and i couldnt tell what food was on the plates. Easier to order. And if you order, you might as well just buy a normal pack without the train. Wasnt for me. But staff were super friendly and attentive.

Tried their Vegetarian Bento Meal and Tempura Prawn Udon Noodle. The Bento Meal was ok, quite basic, the crispy vegetables fritter/tempura was the highlight of the dish. Rice was cold. The Prawn Udon was okay, my daughter enjoyed it until she found a piece of hair in it.

Bento bowls for $15. Tried the extra cripsy chicken set, which was good but cold, like the chicken had been left out for a while. Also had the udon Noodle set with katsu, which was also okay/average. Tasted very much like takeaway food. There is a seat in option. Other menu items include miso soup, sushi, chicken on rice.

Conveniently located on level 3. Lots of sushi options. Always fresh. The oysters are great too when they get new batches in. A must go to spot if you are watching the calories. Just donβt eat the rice and you will be all good!
