The portion sizes don’t match the prices. You end up with a big bill and still feeling hungry. Two very small pieces of nigiri were almost $6. The miso soup wasn’t tasty, and the “new sour peach” fizzy drink tasted just like a regular soft drink. We only had six tiny plates and it cost a lot. Feels like a rip off!!!!

On a Sunday the train had enough choices. We ordered salmon sushi from the menu as the one on the train had mayo and onions.!! It’s great to have an Asian style booth place with sushi in Auckland. The number of sitting booths are limited. It also had ready packed takeaway packs.

⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Disappointing experience, would not return We came to K10 Sushi Train in Newmarket (Westfield) for dinner recently, and unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming — particularly when it came to the food. The location itself is convenient, being inside Westfield Newmarket, with limited hours of free parking available. That wasn't an issue for us. The restaurant setup is clean and modern enough, and service was average — staff were neither particularly friendly nor rude, just generally passive. However, the biggest letdown by far was the quality and freshness of the food. The sushi on the train did not look appetising and tasted even worse. Most of the dishes were dry, lacked flavour, and left us wondering how long they had been circling around. The sushi lacked that fresh texture and taste you’d expect from a proper sushi train. It's frustrating not knowing how long a dish has been sitting out. There was also very limited variety. Even the supposedly “made-to-order” options on the menu were not very appealing, and several things were either unavailable or simply not offered at all. We were surprised to find no larger, hot dishes like meat udon or donburi on the menu — which is something we usually enjoy at other sushi train places. Here, you are restricted to picking small, repetitive, and not-so-fresh plates, which quickly add up on the bill without offering much satisfaction. To be honest, the food here felt mass-produced and lifeless, not something you'd expect from a sushi train that charges premium mall prices. We ended up leaving unsatisfied and disappointed. Overall, we won’t be coming back, and we wouldn’t recommend K10 Sushi Train Newmarket to anyone. If you're craving sushi, there are much better options around Auckland — both for freshness, variety, and value.

The service was great, we were very immediately shown a table and offered water, the waitress gave us a good run through of the menu of what is available on the conveyor belt and what can be ordered to be made. The dinning area very clean and I do like the wasabi they have available. Compare to other sushi train, we wish the dishes are label rather than by section such as chicken section, vegetarian section etc. it was quite hard to see what sushi was under the cover from the table, not a lot of variety, we order a plate of sushi and udon from the kitchen, it was fast, udon not worth ordering, soup was basic and quite salty, the sushi from the conveyor belt were average. We spent $75 for 2 adults and a toddler. I think it’s better and more value for money to just order from their takeaway section. Will we return again? Probably not due to the price not match the value received.

Thank you very much for the wonderful team. I forgot my phone on the table. Just realized I left my phone behind for quite some time. The staffs kept it safely for me. Can’t thank them enough.

Perfect it's not often you find such a gem in the city so go to newmarket and find one there , open from 11 at k10 sushi train newmarket and your taste buds will have a treat . Very fresh and delishes. I'd recommend going to experience the wonderful array of sushi dishes, also the salad I had was teriyaki, for 9 dollars , was reasonably, the miso is very healyhu and i would suggest you pare your meal with the miso , the staff and service was A1 , it was a pleasuremearing you all and you just gave me a awesome experience, food was Very genuine . Not too fancy, I have to insentuate the freshness. Thanks for this experience. I will be back . 15 dollars, was well worth it.

The shrimp had 3 in a plate, maybe because the shrimp looked smaller than the picture? What I had was pretty good. But I saw a lot of the same one couldn’t find much salmon.
