Hit some debries on the motorway while driving to Auckland from Hamilton and the under tray came lose, called a few service stations on the way and none of them were free. Just drove down to this place expecting the same since it was almost 4 pm. But the lady at the reception was very sweet and asked me to wait for 5 mins and someone will fix it and sure enough they fixed it within 10 mins, for free. I was so relieved since I had to drive back to Hamilton. Kudos to the team, they are simply amazing.

Got a flat tire due to a long nail and needed a replacement urgently. I wasn’t expecting to get it sorted on the same day, but thankfully Ellerslie Automotive and Tyres were able to order the same Michelin tire and have it freighted to the shop within an hour. The price was fair for both the tire and labour, especially considering I couldn’t fix it myself on the spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thinking of give my car a full service before my Easter weekend trip, found Ellerslie Automotive in google maps, based a lot of good review in google review, I book a full service for my car on Wednesday, told mechanic my car's right rear tire air always losing pressure slowly, he noted.
First bill $650, was a surprise, but thinking I getting top notch service, I paid the bill, said thank you and drive my car home.
Next day evening, want to go out for grocery shopping before shop close on Good Friday, found my car right rear tire flat, disappointed/upset, trip cancelled.
Friday morning, tried to change spare tire, no success, wheel nut too tight, need leverage like steel pipe, could not find any util Monday neighbor return and borrow steel pipe from neighbor.
Tuesday, call Ellerslie Automotive, bring the tire back for recheck, new conclusion: unrepairable, need replace, choose a cheaper option, get 45$ refund for previous repair.
Total spend 650$ + 140$ = 790$
The reason of 2 stars rating:
1. Bad experience
2. No rebalancing was done as bill stated, I am not expert, stand to be corrected, please see video for reference.
3. Next service recommendation is 6 months later, which all my previous service recommend 1 years for next service.

Radiator replacement.
I booked 10days in advance but received a message to ring Tara back the day before the booking (after I asked them to give me a ballpark quote for the replacement of my radiator, the original 20yr old radiator in my 2004 V6 3.5L NISSAN RWD RX STAGEA.
I was waiting 10days for the booking & x2 days for parts information, get some more staff maybe?
I kindve gave up trying to communicate with them due to the fact that they wouldn't take me seriously. I need a replacement radiator, so I can't just drive around for an assessment, I am a woman but also an Engineer. Next time I will choose Giltrap Nissan at NewMarket or Penrose!
