First visit this week for myself and my son and I'm highly impressed. Great staff, clean, tidy and spacious waiting area with plenty of seating. Much better that my old practice in St Lukes and I'm sooooo glad I made the move to this clinic.
Hi I and my family are registered with thus clinic for more than 15 years . I just called them ، one of the receptionist was not helpful at all. I don't know who she is but her accent was not a kiwi. I asked her about flu injection if i have to pay for it or not she said I have to pay . I was explaining her that I am 51 years old might I don't have to pay as my sister just went to do it she didn't pay and she is for years younger than me but she didn't let me finish my conversation and cut off my call.I am very disappointed.
I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Stoddard Road Medical. They really went the extra mile to help me sort out some complex things around my visa and funding, and because of their help, I was actually able to access the care I needed. A special thank you to Corné—you were amazing and so efficient and empathetic. Also, can we talk about how lovely the reception staff are? They’re always warm, welcoming, and incredibly polite, even when things are super busy. It really makes such a difference walking into a place and being greeted with kindness. Thank you so much again to everyone at Stoddard—I’m so grateful for all your help!
Very disappointed in the nurse here named Kathy, my daughter went in for a dressing change with her nana. The nurse then proceeded with giving my daughter her vaccination shot’s two of them without my CONSENT. Doesn’t matter if my daughter was with her nana that still doesn’t give them the right to go along with a medical procedure without the Mother’s CONSENT! Kathy then call’s me later to inform me of her “mistake” after the shots have been done. But yet couldn’t give me a call beforehand to ask for my CONSENT. How inconsiderate of her, you should not be working as a health care provider if you think this is ok! CONSENT is everything and how dare you feel the need to take this into your own hands! Disgusting behaviour!
Although I have had a few unpleasant experiences at this practise (which I think would be true of ANY practise if you have been going there a number of years) I have had such great support and care from Dr Queenie, and also Ben. They are helpful, thorough and compassionate and because of the care I received my health problems have improved significantly. I can only imagine the stress and pressure of working in a busy medical centre, especially during covid, yet I have never been made to feel rushed or un-valued. I'm very grateful and appreciative! The receptionists and nurse have been amazing, too.
I will not even give a single star for this clinic. Called today to get registered and the receptionist was not even ready to listen to me. She was saying can not register. If they can't guide or help a person for registration even how they will help you for treatment ? I will not even. Recommended this place.
I came for a vaccination. Lovely staff and atmosphere. From the receptionist to the nurses. Friendly and upbeat, very attentive and thorough, felt well looked after and made the visit a pleasant experience. Really appreciate it, thank you.
I had feedback from other parents of autistic kids about how and where they got their kids vaccination done. Feedback was Stoddard road medical have great staff and a nurse that's great with autistic kids. They told me to do a walk in today and they can see us. The wonderful head nurse Cathy was so patient and supportive, she organized a plan and we had our 2 kids taken in 1 at a time to do their vaccinations with the wonderful Jane. No issues at all and a smooth operation. My kids didn't even cry or budge afterwards and are doing great. Thank you Cathy and Jane and also the beautiful receptionist. Thank you we will be coming for the 2nd jab xx
