Pitstop takanini is truly the best mechanic in Auckland! They are fully transparent and don’t overcharge you. Even though my partner and I have moved away from Takanini we still continue to go here for the good service.
Unfortunately our car broke down on our way home from a convention but the lovely staff at pitstop helped us get back on the road! With their friendly service and understanding team we were able to get our car fixed within a day and back home safely!! They also explained to me about the pricing and such after there was confusion, their pricing is cheeper then the other stores aswell. Highly recommend going to this store for any mobile repairs you need!!!!
Great team at this workshop. No pulling the wool, you get exactly what you pay for and they are fair and honest. Junior runs a tight ship. Never had any issues.
Nice a quick service. Rang on a Monday to get a quote and was booked in very quickly for Thursday morning. Very accommodating staff, they made sure the car was ready in time for daycare pickup. Really easy and professional to deal with :)

Today I bought my car into Pitt Stop Takanini to get the exhaust pipe replace. As you can see these are the photos of the tip - they failed to smooth off the edges which someone could of easily sliced or burnt their leg on as it was also sticking out quite a bit from the bumper.These photos were taken after works had been completed last Friday, Pit Stop Takanini advised that all works had been completed up to standard and $415 was paid. uUpon arrival to VTNZ later that afternoon we were advised that the muffler was not up to standard as they had failed to complete the wedding underneath and air was leaking through therefore VTNZ was unable to provide a WOF. After lengthy conversation with the owner he was to concerned about me reviewing my Google reveiw which I thought was rude seen as the appalling workmanship done on my car. Eventually we agreed to return and they would repair works free of charge adding in a cap at their expense. Never ever returning here again, I would not recommend to anyone.
