   My husband and I started using La Hughes before the business was sold to Aqua Plumbing. We used them for a complete gas and water fit out in our tiny house build. When owned by Luke, everyone was wonderful, responsive and professional. We were kept informed and had a wonderful experience. Half of our work was done under Luke’s ownership and the other half done after the business was sold to Aqua. Our tiny house was moved out of the Auckland area and once we moved into it found our gas oven had not been installed to manufacturer recommendations. We cannot use our gas oven and one of our hob burners. We started this process in January 2023, it is now May. We have been stuck in the process of trying to get Aqua to help us sort our oven out this whole time. Countless emails and phone calls to be told they’ll find a local gas fitter to help. Then silence. We can’t get a warranty replacement for our oven until Aqua say they installed it properly, and they won’t. Luke was great, but the new owners are not. I haven’t wanted to write this because of how great Luke was, but this has become a last resort.

   Excellent company to deal with. Great customer services, Ali was so nice on the phone and very helpful. Needed my pool heater installed and it was done in a day, Luke was awesome. I'm so happy and I definitely recommend. Thanks guys.

   Luke, Ali and the team are fantastic. I love that they have a booking system in place so that when we book with them we get a text, estimate of time and it was spot on first time, and second I was called and given the new time, perfect, so I knew what was going on. Excellent work, trustworthy, and we are now signed off professionally for our gas oven so we know were safe and legal with that install and the second time we used them we were given two options of choice to suit our budget a fix or replace, we chose replace and got recommended quality products to replace a leaking tape. Highly recommend. :)
