The good: Staff is friendly and the spot is really cool for all the backyard mechanics out there! The bad: I'm a foreigner and I was wondering how is this place always so empty ??!! I found out today. What they do not tell you is that it's "pick a part" but "pay for the entire assembly when you do". I guess it's good for some items, mainly hard to find stuff but if you want to save money and are looking for parts that are available, go to your local wrecker, it will be cheaper. You guys need to have prices that make sense. You would be full all the time and you would be making a lot more $$ overall. 8$ for 10 used, untested fuses. You factor in the 2$ entry and it's 1$ a fuse ! They are cheaper from the store. 70$ for a mirror glass for a very common car ! Order it from your car manufacturer at that price ! A bit frustrating knowing the quantity of these parts that end up at the dump..

I went in here today, a old lady with white hair and tats on her hands was so rude and disrespectful to me, it was my first time and they give you a number and not even try help you right with a decent attitude it's not hard to show kindness, she should be fired from there. And there's no phone number I don't recommend Mangere to anyone. So stay away guys.

Staff are always helpful and friendly, to me at least. Would give more stars but sometimes vehicles photographed on their website have parts listed as available but either stolen or broken, no fault of the company but idiot customers. Also access to cars being parked too close to each other and needing better drainage in some yards because of flooding. I keep going back so it must be OK

Yup all the 1 star reviews are accurate the place is a dump. Health and safety nightmare and I'm going to report it to the council. Ripping people off with the $2 entry fee when most of the cars have been sitting there too long and have been stripped to the frame.

If you know what you want and you don't mind getting dirty finding it, it's a cost effective way to find car parts. Not recommended if you are easily offended or can't handle muddy messy chaos. Wear gumboots, gloves and clothes you don't care about.

Love it, quality experience as all vehicles are up off the ground so accessing parts is easy as! Was also was great walking through the front entrance to see the vehicle i wanted the battery lead from about 10m away

Great to have your car part of the car available and if you know how to take out parts safely... You just need proper safety boots and good Gum boots in the rainy season...

This place is not run well. One of the earlier reviews showing huge puddles and leaked fluids everywhere is accurate. Car parts are strewn on the ground too so it's a nightmare to get around safely. Unfortunately Zebra are now closed but Pick a Part Avondale is a better choice

If you like wading through large puddles contaminated with oil and other chemicals to fight your way into an old car for overpriced parts featuring mould then this is the place to come. Otherwise online maywell be cheaper, less hastel and dryer. Avondale Pick a Part much better customer service and experience all round
