I came to Shirley for some extra support while navigating a tough situation, after my first session I felt heard and she gave me the tools I needed to help navigate the situation, after 4 sessions I have tools that will stick with me for life. I had 3 sessions with Shirley over the past month. She was very helpful, having a no nonsense pragmatic approach to some of the things I have been going through recently. She didn't so much give advice, but rather affirmed and supported the conclusions I had been coming to myself, but was perhaps unwilling to admit; giving me a few ideas and hints along the way. After the sessions I felt empowered and positive about life and the goals & aspirations I have. I heartily recommend her as an effective Counsellor :-)
