Iβve been a loyal customer of My Goodness for several years, ordering gifts from the UK for my family in New Zealand. Unfortunately, the service has declined to the point where I can no longer continue using this company. My most recent order was scheduled for delivery on a specific date something I selected and paid for. Despite this, the gift was delivered several days early, with no tracking information provided, and without any communication advising there would be a delay or change. As a result, the gift was opened before the intended occasion, completely undermining the purpose of choosing a delivery date. I contacted the company multiple times and received one generic response that didnβt address the actual issue. Since then, there has been no reply at all, despite several follow-ups over a number of days. For a gifting business, communication and reliability are absolutely essential, and they have fallen short on both. Looking at other recent reviews, this appears to be an ongoing pattern early deliveries, missed emails, and poor communication. Sadly, this isnβt the first time Iβve experienced problems with them either. After years of being a repeat customer, Iβm disappointed to say I will no longer be using My Goodness and will be looking for another New Zealand gifting company that values accuracy and customer service. A delivery date is part of the service purchased it should be treated as such.

I ordered a hamper to be delivered for Christmas. It arrived 6/12! I reached out to the company twice after receiving an advice that it was packed and on its way! Communication isn't good. I won't be dealing with this company again for that reason. Yes the hamper arrived, yes it was OK, but communication with the customer is vital, especially when dates have been advised for delivery!

Ordered a gift basket to be delivered on my Mother's birthday. 3 days later and after the birthday it still hadn't been delivered thanks to NZ Couriers. Try another company.--Delivered on the 4th actually when you advertise same day delivery but thanks for the refund

Ordered a gift basket to be delivered to a Hotel ahead of my cousin's wedding in Queenstown, which I unfortunately couldn't attend. The hamper was meant to be delivered on 23/10, but there had been some wild weather in NZ at the time and their 2 day delivery service does specify it can take up to 3 days to the south island, so I accepted that. On 24/10 I got a notification that the hamper was delivered however the photo didn't look like a hotel. I contacted Customer Service and sent 3 emails over 3 separate days (as my cousin was due to leave the hotel and fly home) before I received a reply saying that they were chasing with the courier company (a courtesy email to say they were doing this would have been nice). I didn't hear back for another week, so sent a follow up email, and was told that according to the courier the package had been delivered to the hotel loading bay and I will was asked if I was sure that my cousin didn't receive it (he hadn't, he had already flown out at this point and he checked with the hotel upon check out with no luck). Kirsten from customer service said she would call the hotel to chase up as they should have record of this. More than two weeks later I still have not heard back and honestly am sick of chasing up and have just accepted that I've paid for an item that was never delivered. Would not recommend purchasing from these guys.

I decidedto send a gift to my daughter to celebrate the birth of her daughter. This was on a Thursday and I was hoping for next day delivery but at the worst the Monday following as there was a weekend in between. This did not happen and delivery was on the Tuesday. The My Goodness web site notes same day delivery Auckland, next day delivery nation wide. This is misleading as in an email I received from My Goodness they noted that rural deliveries took 2-3 days. The basket was OK but overpriced. Look elsewhere before you use this company.

Itβs great that they have a physical shop where you can see and choose. The variety is good with many lovely products. I loved the wrappings. The lady working there was very friendly and answered all my questions patiently. The gifts are good value for money.

Ordered a gift for a work colleague. Not only did I order last minute, I forgot to write a little note to go with it. Once I realised my mistake, I called and they were super helpful and lovely. I emailed my message through and got a response efficiently. Then to add icing to the cake, the gift basket was delivered before close of business. My colleague was stoaked and I saved face. Highly recommend. I will definitely use your service again and recommend to others! And that courier company you use, top notch as well. Thank you My Goodness Team.

One of the best places to buy gift hampers. I ordered a baby gift hamper from them for same day delivery, despite delivering the wrong hamper when contacted they responded immediately and sent me the one I ordered before 5pm and they let me keep the other one too. The gifts were packed beautifully and excellent service.
