   Allows her client to drag care of children matters into relationship property proceedings, and allows clients to blackmail opposing parties out of considerable sums of money for rp. Clearly a discussed tactic beforehand. Cost hundreds of thousands, in exchange for having access to a child when the two things should not have been linked at all. Allowed the threat of not seeing child again to force a bad deal out of opposing party or to lose all rp completely, and then to allow her client to move, in breach of court orders. Disgusting work, borderline illegal.

   I have some ethical concerns over how Claire has done her billing. When the retainer was used up, I was not informed and I had not been sent an invoice for the work. Additional charges were billed without any accounting for her time used only a description of her "work" (Apparently this is okay by the law society so beware of this practice from such highly charging hourly lawyers). The money for her bill was taken out of a trust account held by her associate lawyer for a completely separate transaction (not held as a retainer for her services) without my permission. She should not have had access to this account, but lawyers can get away with this behaviour it seems with their terms of engagement covering taking your money without asking. She made mistakes in preparing documents and I do not know if those were charged to me...seems so by the rapid rate at which my funds were used up. The work was done, but it was very expensive for her part in sending a number of emails and preparing one document. You can get this work done for half the cost by going to a non-greedy lawyer. Shop around as it will cost you.
