As much as I love their garments I have had to many fall apart at the seams after less than a yr to buy more from them. The latest is a beautiful duster that I bought this yr and it now has a hole in the shoulder and side seam. I cant justify spending that kind of money if it's not going to last any length of time.
I love The Carpenter’s Daughter clothes so much that I travelled from Western Australia to shop in-store and experience the lovely Caroline and Dihlia in-person. I have numerous of their prices and they are all classic and so well made for my curves. I know they will be worn for years to come.
Caroline and Dihlia are amazing ladies. I have a wardrobe full of TCD tops, pants, tunics and they are the bomb. I love the curve tee that i basically have in every colour that has ever come out. So versatile to combine with the lockdown crop which is also one of my favourites. It all looks so good together and I always get compliments about what I’m wearing. And the best thing is it’s NZ made. Can’t go wrong.

Even though they may seem expensive, the clothes are always created to last. The material breathes beautifully and the cuts are always flattering. The ladies are always friendly and make extra efforts to add their personal touch to my orders, even when they are sale items or outlet. They really try to cater to all sorts. They are my favourite clothing line.
Beautiful shop and wonderful service I loved the VIP parlor for changing rooms. Especially good advice on garment fittings, stylist advice and most of all I left feeling confident. Thanks to the lovely ladies at TCD x
